The article clearly said 1 birth every 8 seconds one death every 12 seconds, and 1 immigrant every 36 seconds so every 72 seconds = 9 births, 6 deaths and 2 people changing their home country.
It also means American population increase is 60% from Americans.
Also if memory serves 50% of those are unplanned. It's nice to know that with Global Warming, the money mess, Peak Oil, and Evolution not the majority opinion of how people came to be, people still think we can grow our way out of all this. That is if they are thinking at all.......”

Here's the easy one:
Way less than 3 Billion people will figure out the first number is related to the second. Last but not least this information will *never* be used in America to avoid sex in the back seat. Also it will never enter the political debate.
Of course i would *love* to be proven wrong, anyone care to take a poll?

I didn't expect my any of my projections to come true so soon. One other post out of 155 mention population and it's in response to my post. 6 or 7 comments on the environment even though the original mentions global warming.

Hmm.. How would you stop something like that?
Wait you could have fewer car exhausts, but that would be fewer customers, which would mean fewer babies.
But if that were correct, that would mean overpopulation causes global warming!
Funny, this seems to be new information, the MEDIA hasn't picked it up! Wonder why that is?
Could it POSSIBLY be because the MEDIA has a vested interest? Imagine organizations so tied up in making money they would rather have the world melt (or maybe freeze [global warming might cause an ice age])
