It didn't take me long to turn over the soda, jam, yogurt and cereal packages to read the ingredients and see no HFCS, no trans fats, no "partially hydrogenated" or lowering calories with poisons like Sucralose or lowering fat by raising sugar and sodium. No need for high-end, expensive "organic" stores like Whole Foods, the regular grocery stores didn't have the garbage that the food industry feeds to Americans.”

“Yes, it's always a beautiful sight to see (some more beautiful than others, as in your case). People (both straight and gay) have no idea just how oppressive day-to-day life is for most gay men and lesbians until they visit an area where public displays of affection between same-sex couples is not looked upon as something "unusual". I was 25 before I visited Castro Street in San Francisco. It was like that scene in "Willy Wonka" or "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" when Wonka opens the door and the kids see the candy trees and chocolate river for the first time. My partner (who had attended college in San Francisco before moving back to Hawaii, where we met) laughed & put his finger under my chin to push my mouth shut.

“I read somewhere that Tiger admitted his preference for white women and his lack of personal identity. The other is note only are the woman not of their Asian or Black ethnicity, the train wreck is they are all unattractive. I think that and the drop from grace has been fast and furious.
