“So this is a very strange story. Are you telling people to ignore their weather warning system? Are you belittling your weather stations? And for what purpose?
Falling trees and other debris covering railway tracks caused travel misery for thousands of commuters, with trains and London Underground services suspended.
Gusts of 99 miles per hour (160 kph) were reported on the Isle of Wight in southern England, while gusts up to 80 mph hit the U.K. mainland.
UK Power Networks officials said up to 270,000 homes were without power. Flood alerts were issued for many parts of southern England and emergency officials said hundreds of trees were knocked down by gusts.
Huge waves prompted the major English port of Dover to close, cutting off ferry services to France.
A nuclear power station in Kent, southern England, automatically shut its two reactors after storm debris reduced its incoming power supply.
And 15 people have been killed so far from this storm.
“I have as much love and compassion for the guy and all his ilk as God:
The nations were angry, and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small-- and for destroying those who destroy the earth." Rev. 11:18”
“Is that a joke? "Proud Heterosexual Tea Party and NRA member" ?
Are you here from The Onion?”

“No, I suspect he is running again and I suspect he will win! The democrats always run someone that can't win a statewide office. Who did the democrats run against Perry the last election. Someone that can't win!
No, I'm not from the onion, I see that in Texas a democrat can't win”
By making poor women have to travel 100's of miles by bus or car after an abortion.
No, this is about forcing the poor to stay poor.
Forcing the poor to have plenty of children to fight the rich man's wars.
Forcing the poor to keep unwanted or unaffordable children while the rich send their wives, mistresses and daughters to comfortable clinics- just as they did before Roe v. Wade.
This is a flat-out attack on poor women.”

“Well gosh then start telling women to keep their pants, if they don't want a baby.”
grandmablue on Jun 25, 2013 at 20:44:59
“Not only that, but this bill closes down 37 women's clinics, preventing about 200,000 low income women from having access to accessible and affordable birth control.
All this will do is create MORE unwanted pregnancies and INCREASE the demand for abortions. I'm told many Texas women close to the border go to Mexico for abortions, which may or many not be safe.”

“Then there's the really poor women who can't afford a bus-ticket who will resort to cheap back-alley abortions we had 50 years ago. Once this black market springs back up, and it will if they pass this, we'll have a new crime statistic to track.”

“I had no idea they were partitioning countries or people from each other. This is sick and scary.”

“It's called Geo-blocking – or geo-gating, as the networks prefer to call it – is how content providers restrict access to their online videos outside the territories where they hold the rights. Here in Canada we are denied access to things like Hulu, Pandora and stuck with a watered down version of your Netflix,”
“That LA News crew drove from the gas station where the video was taken and made several turns over 5 minutes time before encountering the blazing car.
Presumably 'if' that were Hastings car that ran the red light he would have had to take the same route- drive a few blocks, turn, go a few blocks, turn, go a few more blocks, turn- CRASH.
That video HEADLINE makes it appear as if blowing the red light and crashing were one event right after the other, on the same street.”

“Uhhh huh, noticed that. Also, fire dept. was there fast (4 min.), & that crew happened to be there. First time I saw the video, within hours of the crash, the car was going from right to left thru the light, and the crew made one left turn. I watched it over n over, so...pretty sure...but can't find that one now. I'm sure it's all a coincidence, right?”
“"I don't want to be one of those conspiracy people." you say.
When I was younger, 'conspiracy' investigators exposed deeply hidden 'conspiracies' like the Gulf of Tonkin incident and Cointelpro.
The corporate owned major media in recent years has changed the terminology through language manipulation, and apparently it has worked- considering your sentence and the meaning behind it. They have convinced you that 'conspiracy people' are crazy or ignorant - something you would not want to be.
This would block you from looking deeper into events for fear of being labeled, correct?
But look at the source of the labeling, the ones now wanting to fry the guy who exposed the very thing 'conspiracy people' have been warning us about for 10 years.”
