Every RINO or moderate knows that its voluntary sodomy or neocon primary challenges. Senator Lieberman, had he been a Republican, who went to the DNC and followed Obama and knocked McCain....oh wait a minute.....Obama would not have allowed that to occur...”
“This website is so filled with hate for Sarah Palin that I am ashamed to be known as an American! Please realize that she's human, with feelings and emotions too. I think she's awesome! So what if she's not a policy wonk, I DON'T CARE! Until McCain picked her I was not going to vote for the first time in 26 years. She is the reason I voted for McCain. I hope to see her again on the National political stage. GO SARAH!”

“"...I am ashamed to know as an American!"
And I am ashamed of the way you and Sarah Palin brutalize the English language.
Try "...I am ashamed to be an American!"
But why is that? We just elected our first black president. Yet regardless of that, you are ashamed to be an American because those of us with a developed forebrain shouted NO to the Moose Whisperer, and how dare we feel resentment toward the woman who fomented violence against Obama.
The only shame I feel is that the McCain/Palin ticket garnered greater than a hundred votes. Who are these legions of sieve-heads who thought the Static Duo could lead us anywhere besides off a cliff?

“Utter disdain would be a better word. I do not know her to hate her, but this is what you get when you are abysmally under qualified for what could be, for some reason or the other, the commander in chief of this nation. I do not think she realizes that even now, nor you. She could not even maintain the illusion with an army of aides and advisers.

The Crowrd noise became too much and I had to let him go. I jumped out of my car in Windsor, ontario Canada...The Crowd was screaming, Someone was blastin "Yes We CAn" from their 10th floor Balcony...Heaven can be a place on earth!
O yeah, you guys shouldn't forget to kick The Crazy Bladwin younger brother to the north pole..if they'll take him..but we definitely do not what him here in Canada. i already called immigration for them to start a list... anti hope watch list..pwahahahahahah!”

“Seriously, why would you want a policy wonk even peripherally involved with policy? I'd much rather get medical advice from a landscaper than an MD. And it's super when the short order cook does my taxes.”
“And I suppose folks like James Carville, Paul Begala, Chris Matthews alledging that riots will occur if Obama loses is any different! At least McCain's supporters' anger is directed at this movement to socialism!”
We already have an arguable form of socialism, sport, so if you're so opposed to the system, don't *ever* call 9-11 ever again, even if you're dying.
But "socialism" isn't automatically the same thing as government using taxes to operate necessary services on behalf of the governed. So police, fire, EMS, Social Security, MediCare, and the military are all under this umbrella. We still ostensibly have a democracy of sorts despite these government operated institutions.
Government ensuring healthcare for all citizens as opposed to the despicable lasse-faire system we now have that wastes billions of dollars each year and thousands of lives through death from avoidable, preventable causes is not "socialism," but *simple justice.*
Now if you want to do away with the *corporate socialism* as practiced by the GOP and Busheviks these past eight years from Hell with runaway corporate subsidies and bailouts, we're in agreement.
BTW, how's your healthcare coverage? I'm one of the 47 million Americans who have none, as n my case I was declared "not profitable enough" by the private insurance industry for being self-employed and having degenerative arthritis.
Ain't corporate Social Darwinism grand?

“are you really paranoid and gullible enough to believe that Obama is a Socialist? You have no clue what Socialism is. If you did, you would be quite embarrased to be spewing your platitudes about the Democratic ticket. By your definition, we could also call the Republican candidate a Fascist. Extreme left or to the right is bad for the country. By definition, Obama is just left of center - meaning he is more centrist than leftist. You need to do your homework instead of being a Republican-led lamb. (as in lambs to the slaughter)”

Socialism, the government of the peaceful Scandanavian nations which are routinely voted the best places to live on Earth, year after year,
Capitalism, U.S. style, which has enriched only 1% of our citizenry and destroyed western civilization.

“You do know how Marxism and the modern concept of socialism were born, don't you? They were in response to the last period of unregulated capitalism in the late 19th/early 20th century.
If you don't like socialism, maybe you should grow a little less fond of unfettered free market capitalism.”

“'Movement to socialism'??
Our country is going down the tubes because of years of failed financial policies, deregulation and trickle down economics and your candidate has no solutions. Why? Because he championed the very policies that have led us to this place. He has nothing to offer and he knows it.
So now his supporters are calling the Democrats 'socialists'... is this the best you can come up with?
Instead of worrying about some phantom domestic socialism, you'd be better to worry about the fact that the Communist Chinese OWN us. Thank your good friend Geo. W. Bush for that...”

“I for one am glad that Sarah Palin doesn't spend her time mulling over past or historical Supreme Court decisions! Most Americans DO NOT EITHER! We are busy rearing our children, making a difference in our community (not as organizers or agitators like Obama) but as everyday moms and dads. Unfortunately for the elite media and beltway folks they don't understand this. Their income and promotions are based upon their wonkish knowledge....WHO CARES!?!?

“Um, you might want the person one heart beat away from the presidency, to know what's in the Constitution of the United States given that they are swearing to uphold it.
Soccer moms and hockey moms, joe and jane six packs god love y'all unless you're also trained as lawyers or have some kind of education in world affairs, are not qualified to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. What Palin knows about the constitution fills a thimble.
She's got great knowledge about raising children mooses, hunting, fishing, oil and gas. goodie. Let her stay the governor of Alaska where such skills seem to be appreciated and needed.
If I were having my brain operated on, I would want a surgeon, not a hockey mom unless the hockey mom was also trained as a brain surgeon.

“Wonkish knowledge is an interesting neoconservative euphamism for aptitute and qualification. When President Clinton created over the course of his 8 year tenure an astounding surplus, I'm sure it had nothing to do with his wonkishly knowledgeable cabinet. I don't choose my elected representatives because theyre just as knowledgeable as me, I choose them because they are most usually more knowledgeable than me. I dont expect my president to be as smart as me, I actually expect him to be smarter than me. As for your last jibe "Who cares?" well I care because at the end of the day, as much as you may believe that your ability to sustain your own standard of living and raise your kids is entirely at your own behest, we live in a codependant society that requires concise, clever and forward thinking judgement to create prosperity for all.
PS SocialismSux eh? How does it feel to have just socialized the risk of the largest financial system in the world? Not even the French are so red honey!”

And if you really believe that your President and Vice-President don't need to know little things like the law and the constitution and diplomacy, than there really isn't much hope for you.”

“It is shame you are failing your children by dismissing the value of an education; which Palin doesn't have and evidently neither do you. and further, you are very mistaken about everyday people not understanding the decisions that impact us all. I run into relators, contractors, teachers, disabled people, police officers, restaurant owners, motel owners, charity workers that, while they may not be able to cite the case, certainly do know and sometimes question the decisions from SCOTUS (you may have to look that up). and besides, you are not running for Vice President, you cannot, with any sanity, apply your "educational" needs (which apear to be few) to the requirements of the Vice President.”
