Kids texting in class or on the road?”

“Fax machines out?

Sorry, just google and you find that they are still being sold NEW as well as combined with copiers.”

elemenopee replied on Dec 26, 2009 at 13:15:55

“Yea. I really have to disagree that fax machines or even land lines will become obsolete this decade or next even.”

gesneri replied on Dec 26, 2009 at 13:14:40

“And who is going to send anything confidential over the internet? I'm still anxious when I have to fax something with confidential information, double check the number 3 times, etc. Fax machines are here to stay for a while, at least for business purposes.”

Sara Morton Mays replied on Dec 26, 2009 at 12:55:13

“Yeah, I have a hard time with this one too. Although currently I use eFax quite a bit, not everyone I work with is up to speed on the technology and they still have fax machines. The real issue becomes getting that hardcopy into a digital form.”

“Look at it this way....

Christmas and Thanksgiving are holidays. A holiday is a day that you are paid NOT to work ie you don't have to work and if you must you get compensated for it.

Now, I very much doubt that retailers will ever open on Christmas day, but anything can happen in California but California is NOT the rest of the Universe.

Restaurants and convenience stores certainly as well as movie theatres.

What I am sure of is that some retailers will keep "pushing the envelope" and open say earlier on "Black Friday".

Trust me, I'm from a retailing family.”

“BECAUSE, BY AND LARGE, FEMALES LET THEMSELVES GET PREGNANT.
NO HUMAN FEMALE GETS PREGNANT ON HER OWN.
DEADBEAT BOYFRIENDS....”

ez duz it replied on Dec 21, 2009 at 23:58:36

“Hi, SonofLiberty1:

Screaming your statement (in capital letters) does not make a convincing argument. It merely suggests that you are a desparate misogynist and speaks to the poverty of your position.

Do you believe that…

God is perfect (Sam. 22:31)?

Prior to the New Covenant established at the Last Supper (Mat. 26:28), all Jews who did not follow all the Law were cursed (Deut 27:26), that the violation of the Law is sin and that the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23)?

An engaged female who conceives from someone other than her betrothed should be stoned to death (Deut 22:23-24)?

Mary, Jesus’ mother, conceived in such a manner (Luk. 1:31) and that God impregnated her (Mat. 1:18)?

According to the Bible:

1) God violated God’s own Law, sinned, and is worthy of death.

2) Mary conceived outside of her covenanted relationship with Joseph and should have been stoned to death - ending not only Mary’s life, but justly terminating her pregnancy with Jesus.

3) According to the Bible, Jesus’ birth was in violation of God’s holy Law. Therefore he has no legitimate claim to the Messianic title.

According to your own terms, Mary let herself "get pregnant" and God was a "deadbeat boyfriend."”

Gidster replied on Dec 21, 2009 at 12:04:46

“Lack of education, lack of access to contraception, deadbeat boyfriends, all contribute.

If these women had ALL the facts, not just some religious talking points, and had access to contraception, and the education to use it properly, with strong support in place, there would be little need for abortion in the first place, it would be relegated to medical need alone.”

The same Majority is AMBIVALENT towards Abortion.

Some want it, some don't.

However, Roe is the law of the land...

Therefore...

Abortion shouldn't have ANYTHING to do with this period.

And, as far as I'm concerned...

NO WOMAN HAS THE RIGHT TO TELL ME THAT MY MONEY SHOULD PAY FOR HER ABORTIONS ESPECIALLY SINCE I DON'T KNOW HER AND HAVEN'T SLEPT WITH HER!”

And i do not want my money going to occupations that are unwarranted, IMO. As it stands, and will not change we have the Hyde amendment, no federal dollars go to abortion. So don't worry, your money is not provide abortion sir. Do you have a uterus? Until than, shut up. Just because women have the ability to reproduce doesn't mean they should, want to or can>”

In fact you do you honor your pet by getting another one.

Your new pet is not a replacement as you will always remember your beloved pet.

My best wishes:)”
