“As a senior citizen, Italian american and proud I want to say I don't like the show. Saying that I do however wouldn't take it off. My husband and father both serviced in the military over 20 years and fought for the right of freedoms. Even the ones we don't like and believe me I can't stand this group. Majority of people aren't stupid and they understand not all Italian americans are like that. The more people bring attention to it the more people will watch it. Let it go and it will die a natural death.”

Give Shaun a change to adjust to being with his dad and new home. Mr. Goldman is the natural father and the child should be with him. If it had been the other way around I would say the same thing. You must remember the stepfather was not the natural father and he did everything he could do to prevent Shaun from seeing his natural father. All the fallout should be on the Stepfather's doorstep. It wasn't about Shaun. If he really loved Shaun he would have given he back a long time ago and I am sure Mr Goldman would have let him spend even the summers in Brazil. Now I wouldn't blame Mr Goldman for being very carefull about the stepfather. Had this been a lower middle class stepfather none of this would have been a question. Even the people of the country agree with Mr Goldman.”

“I find the whole thing very interesting. My father was an old time soldier. I remember when he said to us they will loose the dicipline in the military when they allowed beer in their rooms. He was old school. He felt when a woman was going to have a baby she should get out. Having babies and trying to carry a war is not in the military's mission. Bring the draft back and you won't have this problem. This policy isn't going to work. These young people are not robots.
