“Agreed. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Tori is my favorite. Strange Little Girls was a good album too. Too many covers that she has done live to mention..I especially love Whole Lotta Love, she played that a lot earlier in her career. I saw her sing Philadelphia by Neil Young in 2001. One of my favorites that I saw her do live.”

“A country where men can't control women, gays can't be discriminated against and the old testament isnt taught in science class is Mike Huckabee's idea of hell. So in a way he is right, however he is only speaking for himself... And the other crazies in that party, which all of them.”

Mitt Romney Refuses To Talk About FEMA After Hurricane Sandy Event

Commented Oct 30, 2012 at 18:25:22 in Politics

“It must be very exhausting for conservatives to have to constantly defend Mitt's behavior. I wouldn't want to have to do it. Between this and his other flip flops, the Crysler lies, the 47 % comment, not getting simple geography right at the third debate, Ryan lying about the Janesville plant and his self centered photo-op at St. Vincent DePaul in Ohio and the hundreds of other despicable things this duo has done, I don't know how conservatives have the energy to continue to defend it.”

“So essentially you are saying your wife is one of those low info not very bright voters? She watched a couple debates and makes a decision on that?! Maybe she should actually pay attention to current events on a daily basis. The fact that she was totally disengaged until to debates says a lot about her level of knowledge. Put her in the low information voter binder full of women.”

“Oh so you are saying that they will vote for Romey simply because they are white and so is Romney? Hmmm.. I seem to remember right wingers getting all up in arms accusing Powell of voting for Obama simply because he is black. The heights of hypocrisy in the teaparty never end. Oh and Cleveland has the largest African American population in the country. You obviously are not familiar with Ohio. I live here. I hate to break it to you, but we are not Alabama. I know you wish that was the case though since you count on rednecks to keep your corrupt party alive.”

“Who cares about national polls? That includes the south and we know how much they hate Obama. The only southern state that matters is Florida, all the others always go red. This is another story to keep the horse race narrative going. The polls reflect that Romeys so called momentum stopped over a week ago. Obama has never lost his lead in the swing states even with Romneys momentum. The media wants the narrative to continue to keep Neilson ratings up and advertisers buying time. It's as simple as that. The Dubya said today that he doesn't think Romney will win. First time I ever agreed with Prince Valium.”

“The GOP has a math problem, on many levels. Let's do some math shall we: Obama is up 60 to 30 over Romney with early voting and down 5 points among those who haven't voted. He has a lot of catching up to do here and being behind 5 points isn't gonna help him to do that when Obama is already ahead by double. Besides if right wingers are so pumped up and motivated, why aren't they running out in droves for their guy? What are they waiting for? Early voting is for everyone.”

“I was in Cleveland last night to see Obama. The crowd was so diverse. White working class, white professional men and women, African Americans, women, gays, young, old etc. it was moving to be among such a diverse group all there to support the same cause and support each other. All I see in Romney rally photos is a sea of white. And the funny part is that most of the whities attending Romney rallies are part of the 47% that he loathes. Low information voters and racists will destroy this country. (cue racist hateful comments by right wingers in 3,2, 1...)”

Colin Powell Endorses Obama For President

Commented Oct 25, 2012 at 10:43:32 in Politics

“You do not understand the difference between racist and prejudice. Neither of which apply to this situation with Powell. Racism is about oppression. Voting for someone because you think they have your best interest is not racist. Voting against someone because he is black and therefore "not one of us" is racist. Racism is systemic and cannot be applied by one person. It is societal or must be a group of people disparaging another group based on their race. Racist=the entire teaparty. Therefore any one individual in the teaparty participates in perpetuating their racism.”

Robert Gibbs Says Anwar al-Awlaki's Son, Killed By Drone Strike, Needs 'Far More Responsible Father'

I do suspect that they wouldn't hate Americans so much if we stopped dropping bombs on them. But I would rather deal with Obama case by case where I disagree with him then deal with the totality of a Romney administration where I would have to fight him through his entire term because he and his vice president are a couple of misogynist sociopaths.”
