“What a shame that Big Business has stolen your health and your personal wealth. I pay around 1000 Dollars a year for a family of four. Complete coverage. If I got sick and couldnt pay I would be autocovered by the state. Its called Civilazation folks. I am in Germany a country with 80 million people in a land smaller than Texas.”

“Yeah, I like what I've seen of the German system. It is probably better-suited for the U.S. than Canada's or U.K.'s system.
My personal prediction is that the U.S. will end up with something more like Germany's system in the next 10-15 years. The reason being that market forces mostly just don't apply to the health care industry and competition does not reduce cost. Eventually the increasing cost of health care will force the U.S. to deal with that.”
