“Thx for that...I really needed a laugh today and that did it...that is the amazing thing that I love about the interwebs....connections between two people totally unknown to each other sharing something never shared before and never to share again...”

“No offense guys, but this is a seminal and fundamental argument in biz strategy and even mediocre undergraduate programs teach this phenomena and how to handle it within their capstone strategy classes. I'm amazed by Corp leaders that stay on this constant reorg train every 2 yrs or so...we know the conditions under which it works, does not work and needs to be implemented...this one is easy stuff.”

NC Consumer Advocates Seeing Red Over Bait and Switch by One of the Blues

Commented Feb 24, 2011 at 14:24:55 in Politics

“What you and many STILL fail to realize is you already pay for the healthcare of uninsured people. There are a variety of ways in which this happens (cost-shifting, subsidies, charity...) and OCare is just an attempt to make everyone pay some of their fair share. The first dollar spent on anyone's healthcare beyond their premium is someone else's money...the status quo before OCare was unsustainable at best and immoral at its worst.”

NC Consumer Advocates Seeing Red Over Bait and Switch by One of the Blues

Commented Feb 24, 2011 at 14:18:02 in Politics

“So Chris, what do you do when you're the only party that negotiates in good faith and the other side is only interested in advancing their priorities...I feel you on all you say. I live in NC and our family has BCBS...I believe we should have a public option in each exchange with no across state lines purchases except the PO.”

ChrisCann on Feb 24, 2011 at 14:45:06

“I agree that it should be more two sided. I hate that we have to give some stuff up. I just feel it would be worse if the dems didn't deal on the tax stuff. I agree about the public option. not happy about the mandate. The health care bill is far from perfect and needs to be tweaked. I don’t agree with the GOP and tea party who want to just repeal it without any plan to replace it. there are a lot of good things that really help people in that bill. I personally know people who have been positively affected by the HC bill”

Beyond Optics: Why Board Diversity Really Matters

Commented Jan 4, 2011 at 21:28:51 in Business

“The management literature has an entire sub-stream of research supporting board diversity with extremely rigorous and robust statistical methodologies. Don't be like rethugs that when presented with conclusive data simply chose to ignore it as biased.”
