“how do we make this happen?”

nana4g on Jul 29, 2011 at 20:58:57

“I drew up a petition very similar to this one at change.org, back when there was another big stall, for the life of me, I cannot remember what it was about, there have been so many. You would be surprised how many, many people signed it back then, almost 500 in two weeks, from all over the US and even expats abroad. You can list to whom you want those petitions sent and I listed the President, all Congressional Leaders, and some key Senators and Reps. After a bit of time, probbly when they were flooded with this strange petition, Boehner came out with "freezing the pay of Congressional staffers" and someone else came out with why they don't freeze their own salaries, etc. It needs to surface again, to let them know we are very serious about this. Susan, you can do this for Diane; it is not that hard. The title was "Congressional Dysfunction".”

Diana Stanley on Jul 29, 2011 at 18:41:03

“someone needs to create a petition to the proper people at create petition sites,
edit it to 4 years just like the presidential term then get signatures i think, i just don't know how or who or what to do, I don't know to much about politics but it sure seems like a good idea to me!”

“Jeff Kuhn, 62, of Chenequa, Wis., carried a "Walker Rocks" sign to the rally. He said Palin's speech galvanized him.

"We're not giving up," he said. "The government union workers shouldn't be entitled to more benefits than us."

This statement Say's it all, this man is mad because he believes that union workers get more then him. In his mind what's unfair is people getting more then him, so why is he not mad that billionaires are getting tax breaks that he him self is not getting? If he's so mad that someone is getting more then him why is he not mad at Sarah palin she makes more money giving speeches then he dose in a year. It's funny he's mad at the union worker who is just getting by like everyone else but not at the people who are steeling from him. Maybe he's just supports who ever is dumber then him.”

"Fascism is the unchecked rule of a class of the privileged, or relatively rich, in power--a full-scale assault on poor and working people.
