“Can you really be that naive or self centered in your focus? Or so uneducated as to have no sense of historical context?
"....they just lived their lives." That's what GLBT are striving for ...oh, just for hundreds and hundreds of years. By being silent they have been persecuted, imprisoned, attacked, tortured, and killed. They still can't get married in most states and can be fired for being gay.
So you want them to be silent because they won a few battles recently? Forget it.”

“Yes but without them...would there be a HuffPost?”

“I think most commercial media outlets are trending toward this kind of silliness. It requires so little effort to produce and there's a voracious appetite for it given that people are primed to argue about just about anything.”
“too kind...but I couldn't resist throwing a few words at the repulsive image and the story behind it. Practice and revision....my friend. Neither of which I've been doing lately....but getting back into it. Good luck in your pursuits!”
“F for the thoughtful and kind replies. I'll consider ways I can offer selfless charitable acts. Please consider more how corporations manipulate for profit....to be blind or naive to this ultimately leads to a life less fully lived.”
“Oh, I was touched by their emotion for sure...tears and all. But the ad...is not okay in my book. I wouldn't pair the two...and I resent having my emotions linked up to a money making endeavor. I think that's why they unlinked their name from the give away at the store and claimed the local store was giving groceries away...it makes the charitable giving....selfless....they're not getting anything out of it. But then they want it both ways...so they link their name with a Product promo and sales at the end...that's not selfless. And to spend $1000 on free groceries to capture self-less giving on video then to leverage this for sales of who knows, 100K+ of product? Well that's manipulation in service of capitalism. I don't like it. Just be direct about it if your going to do it. Snapple gave away free groceries. Please buy Snapple.”

“Sorry - I just don't see it that way. I hear you though and am sorry it ruined it for you. Have a wonderful Holiday season...and maybe we can both buy someone in our line some small amount of groceries without selling anything! ::Smile::”
“I'm sure....that at a certain moment, under the gentle glow of the moon, an enticing fall breeze embracing the world, golden leaves trembling as they cling desperately to the past....that this man could be charming and lead any one of us into the woods...to be bludgeoned. Blotches of red stain the golden floor of the moonlit forest. Above, an owl turns it's snowy head fully round and blinks a golden eye.”

“Are you supposed to be a writer? Well you seriously stink at it, goldenly.lol”

“You're a very descriptive writer! Wish I had that talent! I can write a great plot but I can't describe the scenery to save my life!”

“You have talent! I expect to see your first novel on the supermarket paperback rack next to the gum in a year or so.”
“I was going to say...drug test them....but now I'm thinking it snarkier to suggest weighing them b/f paying for all those groceries.
It's defensive humor.
What's not funny is the ad/promo/plug at the end.”

“Some times when the heart begins to grow and fill with love these mean snarkie things come out. It is okay - soon you will smile. Oh and as for their ad...get over it...they just gave away many hundreds of dollars of groceries and I think if I were using something like this - I would rather buy it from people like this then mean old Red Bull types.”

“You will pay me 1 dollar a month in rent...for that you can live here. You must prepare all my meals to my satisfaction. You must be naked when I desire it. I may "touch" you with various parts of my body at any time, you will be wholly receptive. There may be beatings. This will be a binding legal contract b/c you paid me a dollar.
Look forward to dominating and controlling you. Sincerely, A. Holle.”
