“Thank You for your brilliant piece, you have said, what so many of us now feel.
I also turn off the channel as soon as Obama starts speaking, for the very
reasons you write about. And your points on Bush were correct, as vile, as
ignorant and as dangerous as his actions were, he did what he said, he
would do. And made no apologies for his arrogrance and ignorance.
Some people are actually still saying, (although there are fewer of them)
Obama is a great orator, so are many actors. The latter are playing parts, no
one gets hurts with them, no one is left behind with nothing. Obama is NOT
a leader, he has shown ZERO leadership on every single issue, as you
point out. He also dare I say, lies with ease. If year end awards were given
for the Ultimate Bait & Switch individual he would win in a landslide.”

There is nothing too low, too base for this crowd - even wishing

Coburn owes an apology on the floor of the Senate to Senator Bryd

“Actually it does do a lot of things - it makes the insurance companies and big pharma - even

Obama conducted secret meetings with Insurance companies and big pharma, so much for his
transparency promise. You are 1000% correct, we needed Single Payer - Obama took that off
the table before discussions began. Campaign Obama wanted the Public Option, then took
it off the table when he was elected. This guy is a disaster and if this passes, it will be a
disaster. And the "mandate" is beyond outrageous. The richest country on the planet refuses
to provide healthcare for its people - and now will FORCE people to BUY it - and if they don't
will FINE them. This in THE UNITED STATES - and for those shouting, "We are Number One,"

The Democrats are so terrified that if this bill goes down, they are done. Well, if this passes,
they are DONE. Listen to the people - we don't want this bill. This is big giant GIFT TO THE
INSURANCE COMPANIES AND BIG PHARMA. Candidate Obama said, no one should be forced

Finally, MSM is running those tapes of what he said, as - Candidate Obama.
A massive march on Washington with millions of people - DEAMANDING THIS BILL BE
KILLED would MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. The Democrats are NOT listening - they are sooooooo
terrified that the Republicans will say - they couldn't get healthcare reform done - they will push
this hideous bill through. WE MUST STOP THEM. And for all those saying, something is better

“Without Howard Dean's "50 State Strategy" Obama would not be President.
Everything Howard Dean is saying about his disastrous health care bill is the
TRUTH. This bill is NOT reform, it is NOT change, it is a GIFT to the Insurance Companies
and Big Pharma. Last night CNN showed tapes of candidate Obama saying, he was all
for purchasing drugs from Canada - HE LIED. He promised a "open and transparent process" -
HE LIED. He made a secret $80 billion dollar sweetheart deal with big pharma. He promised
C-SPAN cameras and total transparency - HE LIED. Much like Cheney and his buddies
and their secret meetings on big energy. Dr. Howard Dean should have headed up HHS,
but Dr. Dean has been treated like dirt by Obama and his pit bull Emanuel. And Matthews
moronic attacking of Dr. Dean showed as always, the slobbering Matthews total lack of
brains. And Landrieu is nothing but a LIAR and a SHILL for the Insurance Companies.
Her state - LA health care is at the very bottom. And she has NEVER done anything about that.
And let's not forget - she praised George Bush (during the first days of Katrina) for his "outstanding
leadership." Anderson Cooper had to shame her on CNN. Matthews to dumb to do that.
Howard Dean is the REAL REFORMER, THE SINCERE REFORMER. THE AUTHENTIC REFORMER

“The got 3 Republicans to vote for it. This time bipartisanship worked.

Senator Lieberman was one of the Senators who voted for the bill. His was the 60th vote.

Incidentally Senator Feigold, along with Bayh and McCaskill waited to vote until Senator Lieberman had cast his vote for it and only then, knowing it would pass voted against it. They all knew that this bill was needed but were uwilling to put their name on it. This kind of hypocricy by Senators like Feingold goes a long way in explaining why Senator Lieberman retains his committee chairmanship and seniority is spite of all the mischief he is making on health care reform.”

“It is astounding and sickening that the Democrats allowed themselves to be held hostage by
Lierberman. Astounding!
You think this would have happened with LBJ or Clinton?
Answer: Never.
Obama's total lack of leadership on healthcare is the reason it has come to this.
He will take anything that has the word, "reform" on it. He has screwed the
Progressives from day one - and has been on his knees to the Republicans.
And he has sunk the Democratic Party. As Progressives, we always get the
shaft, because the Democrats assume we have no where else to go.
I met a hard working African American lady (today) who told me how
"very disappointed I am with Obama, he made all these promises, and
he has done nothing, broke every promise, he turned his back on all his
promises, while kissing the backsides of the Republicans. He will be
out on his backside in 2012."”

Sartre Meets Afghanistan: Obama's "No Exit" Strategy

Commented Dec 08, 2009 at 12:05:29 in World

“As always, an outstanding piece.
Once again we have an adminstration that plays around with
words - and their unique meaning for the words they craft.
And once again we have an adminstration that wants to
please everyone, and in the process loses all sides.
Every time I hear someone from this adminstration
talking about building schools in Afghanistan, I want to
scream. For decades, schools in the country have been
crumbling. The drop-out rate is soaring. Yet, we are
NOT building schools here - we are building them
in Afghanistan - where they get blown up!
Yet, there is no real outrage in this country,
there is just the silent sound of indifference.
How many more troops will die in the hell hole
of Afghanistan? How many more billions will
be thrown into this country of war lords and
tribal chiefs? Sadly, we have seen this picture
before and we know how it will end.”
