“""This is my daughter's first Christmas, and I feel really crappy that I can't get her the things that she wants.""
I know this is nitpicking but how much could an infant want (that isn't otherwise already provided daily, like food, diapers, cuddling, etc.) and how could said infant be telling the parent what it is?”
“I got a Suzy Homemaker oven. The mixes for THAT were awesome but my parents didn't want me to play with the oven because the light bulb that "baked" the food melted the door of the oven and they were afraid it would burn the house down.
I used the oven when they weren't home, anyway, because they DID taste amazing...lol”
“If only there were enough of us who bother to leave the house for elections to vote him out. Drives me absolutely NUTS that this man is put back in time and time again, regardless of the slap in the face it is to the rest of us.”
“Since just about everything is illegal here in Arizona with mandatory sentencing (okay, I'm exaggerating, but only a little bit), a lot of these "hardened criminals" are being treated like this regardless of what sort of person they are and many are treated like this even before they've been convicted. They're just awaiting their court dates.
Gotta love publicity hounds like our sheriff who do anything they can to appear "tough on crime" and don't care if it reveals how ugly they are.”
“I suppose it would be valuable to know who Rohr's boss is and if that guy is a franchisee with several stores. Often a franchisee is operating based on what works for HIM/HIS interests rather than the corporation as a whole.
Perhaps Pizza Hut itself shouldn't be attacked but rather the individual franchisee? This clearly states that Rohr was a GM and not the franchisee.”
“I disagree. A person who apologizes when they recognize they were out of line deserves the opportunity to make right, regardless how deserving of the over-the-line comments the subject is in the first place.”
