War combatants apprehended in Iraq (an adventurous war) were simply defending their country and shouldn’t have come into US custody in the United States. They were prisoners of war as opposed to Afghan terrorists. When the former Administration created a facility in Cuba expecting to escape from US Constitution coverage, they were dead wrong. They failed to identify Iraq resistant fighters v Afghan terrorists. Think for a minute that US Embassy or an army base in any country is considered US territory. It is why McCain was born somewhere on an army base in South America is considered a US citizen.
This is what happens when we have people not versed with law and how it should be applied running wild in the White House. This Administration is trying to clean mess left by Republicans, by applying legal procedures ignored by the former Administration. Conservatives and neocons are short on legal scholars. Rudy Julianne is no better. I am supprised that these men were once prosecutors.”
