“It's pretty amusing how people look at the "whole-body" approach as a fad or infomercial.
In the US doctors are taught to treat symptoms and not the underling problem. Simply because there is more profit in keeping people sick.
My wife was on 14 perscriptions prior to seeing a physician that embraced an Eastern approach to medicine and the body. After 10 months my wife has lost over 30lb and is only taking 2 scripts.
Our countries health problem lies in the amount of chemicals and processed foods we put into out bodies. Our diets are the key after 3 weeks using the Paleo diet (basically nothing processed) your body naturally cleanses itself. Now for example after a cheese burger or pizza, I'll feel sick due to the processed cheese and bread”

I'm sorry, but that's just false. Students of medicine are in fact taught the opposite, properly -- from the concepts of public health and hygiene to the integrated nature of psychology and physiology.

It's -people- that treat symptoms. Fad diets like, say, the UltraMetabolism lose-weight-while-you-sleep solution to being overweight. Or the Paleo diet. Or patients who go to their doctors and demand pills that they see on TV.

And despite the hand-waving puff/ad pieces like this one, these "doctors" with their disingenuous message of holistic-in-name-only medicine exacerbate the problem, not ameliorate it”

“hemp contains only minute (less than 1%) amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the primary psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. In addition, hemp possesses a high percentage of the compound cannabidiol (CBD), which has been shown to block the effects of THC. For these reasons, many botanists have dubbed industrial hemp "anti- marijuana."”

“YES !!!!!! Farmers worldwide have harvested the crop for the past 12,000 years for fiber and food, and Popular Mechanics once boasted that over 25,000 environmentally friendly products could be derived from hemp.

If I remember correctly you get 3x the paper from 1acre of hemp that you do from trees.
It also is renewed each year and you don't have to way 20yrs from regrowth..”

“I think once Barack is elected we'll see a more "matter of fact"/everyman tone in his speeches and persona. Compared to the "elitist" persona which people bring up.

The fact is that Barack MUST "sound" better educated and "elitist" for many people in our society to "accept" him as intelligent.

Just look at the polls and the percentages of voters who indicate race is a factor, even though in most cases they are of mixed ancestry also. It's unfortunate but true.

Regardless come Nov 4 BARACK will be POTUS!!!”

“I hadn't heard the Spiro Agnew comparison...but if they are trying to use that, how stupid can they be.

Agnew attended Forest Park Senior High School in Baltimore, before enrolling in the Johns Hopkins University in 1937. He studied chemistry at Hopkins for three years, before joining the U.S. Army and serving in Europe during World War II. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service in France and Germany.

Upon his return from the war, Agnew transferred to the evening program at the University of Baltimore School of Law. He studied law at night, while working as a grocer and as an insurance salesman. In 1947, Agnew received his LL.B. (later amended to Juris Doctor) and moved to the suburbs to begin practicing law. He passed the Maryland bar exam in 1949.”

“McCains Economic leader Phil Gramm wrote a bit of legislation called the Gramm-Leach-Bliley_Act..
Which repealed The Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 which maintained a separation between commercial banking and the securities industries, whichl was enacted because of banking during Great Depression. (sounding familiar yet?)

This law allowed banks to always prosper no matter what.
It also enabled Investment banks to enter the Speculative markets and begin trading futures such as oil, as opposed to only allowing Speculation by actual users,
We also begin to see the price of oil begin to rise due to investment banks using oil futures to hedge their bets in the market. Did anybody seem to notice that as these banks start to fold the price of oil has begun to drop..did we stop using that much oil all of a sudden?? didn't we just have a major hurricane?? What's happening is that these Banks are now clamoring for cash and unloading all the oil futures to keep themselves afloat.
One article suggests that 85% of the Futures in Oil where held by a combined group of 5 investment banks Leehmans and Bear Strearns were a couple of those mentioned. In the weeks to come we'll see the price of oil plummet as the institutional speculators begin leaving the market.

I have step ONE to correct this Banking problem repeal Gramm-Leach-Bliley_Act. and quit letting the banks run the government.”

“While I know that the family is "off limits". I think it's pretty unusual that such a "well educated" master of foreign policy would encourage her son NOT to attend college. Don't you find that a bit odd.
Let's see Track joined as private and makes if he's lucky 24k/year. He could have attend a college with an ROTC program and enlisted as an officer @ probably 40-60k.
What kind of judgment, does that show as a parent, much less as an Executive?? Was the kid not able to get into college?? While I understand the desire to serve and make a difference, if you have the means, which the Palins do, then what rational reason is there??”
