Senate Votes To Let Military Detain Americans Indefinitely, White House Threatens Veto

“As an American citizen and a law enforcement officer, I have to say that I am deeply troubled by this bill. A red flag always goes up when individuals attempt to use scare-tactics and propaganda in an attempt to justify extreme actions. If Congress was truly concerned about the safety of the homeland, then why haven't they passed any drastic laws to protect the American people from violent career-criminals. Last I checked, gang members killed more Americans each year than any terrorist organization.”

“They have; gun control .limiting gun owner ship. registering guns and their owners heck New Jersy will pay you 1000.00usd to rat out your neighbor for having a gun. An un armed population is easy to control an armed population out numbers them a lot. Besides that as a cop you know those with the guns make the rules- I know they seem like idiots up there but do ya think they might have figued it out too.”

“Protect the American people from violent career-criminals. Are you talking about the carrer-criminals like the Sente and House members? Can we ask them to vote for their own limit on their office term, like the President ( 2 terms)? They already can vote their own raises.
This is still like asking the government for a permit to protest the government. LF'nOL. I think we have waited to long, our time has pasted we will do what they want or we go to Guantanamo Bay.”
