Justice For Cisco: Austin Police Officer Fatally Shot Dog While Responding To Wrong House

“Dude, you keep saying the dog "attacked" the officer. Not proven, and
unlikely, given a preliminary breakdown of video. More likely the cop
over reacted. Leashed dog in your own yard? Ridiculous. Besides, the
dog owner was being held at gunpoint by the officer, so the owner could not restrain his dog, with whom he was playing with IN HIS OWN YARD.
Prediction - Mr Paxton sues Mr Griffin/APD - Mr Paxton win's damages.”

Jan Brewer Defends Immigration Crackdown, Says Mexico 'Controlled By Drug Cartels'

Commented Feb 26, 2012 at 17:45:36 in Politics

“Look, it's pretty simple when you just boil it down : Nationals from one country have no
( or should have no right ) right to live and work in another country without proper documentation, period, end of story. The problem is that immigration law is not enforced,
and the laws are not enforced because "business interests" have successfully lobbied
State and Federal politicians for non enforcement. Just the raw truth. Don't blame poor
mexicans just trying to survive - - Blame our politicians for enabling business interests over
the law of the land.”

sirbosk1 on Feb 26, 2012 at 18:19:58

“It's not just mexicans. It's muslems from Iran, North Africa, Indonesia and other muslim nations. It's people from all of central and south america. It's people form China and other Asian nations. I DO blame the invaders from all of these places. Republicans want them to work cheap but not work. Democrats want them to vote but not take Union jobs. Both major parties have a vested interest in making it easy for them to come in. Even the 3rd largest political party is no use here. They don't believe in borders, to their everlasting shame.

We need the supreme court to stop supporting the side of the invaders and to allow states to enforce the law. Each state is a nation onto themselves and should have a constitutional amendment to state they will control access to their state and limit to those of the other 49 states, legal foreign nationals, and diplomats. All others should be subject to arrest, forfeiture of property and money as well as a felony conviction and fines.”

woodup2 on Feb 26, 2012 at 17:53:43

“I agree with all you say except ""business interests" have successfully lobbied" as being the sole cause. It is part of the cause along with many other causes. Like illegals wishing to join their family, free goods and services, the DNC looking for more voters, etc.”

Fox News' Liz Trotta Doubles Down On Statements About Rape In The Military (VIDEO)

Commented Feb 20, 2012 at 16:56:21 in Media

“I understand what Liz Trotta was saying - - and I say this as a veteran of the 82nd Airborne.
When put into proximity, men and women do what men and women in all other areas of the
workplace - - they get intimate. Just look at the out of control pregnancy rates for active duty
women. * Rape is a separate issue an needs to be dealt with harshly*
The US military ought not be a playground for "social engineering". Combat is stressful, bloody,
and a place where split second decisions must be made - - we do not need soldiers not paying
attention to detail, because Maggie in the next foxhole might get hurt or killed. I hope and pray women are never assigned to frontline combat units as fighters, we will suffer for it.”

Joplin Missouri Angered Over Talk Of 'Tornado Tourism'

Commented Feb 1, 2012 at 18:32:11 in Travel

“@ 12 - You miss the point.
The professional politicians on the left and the right, do the bidding of their Masters on Wall
Street, helping the poor ( in the case of democrats ) and cutting taxes ( in the case of republicans ) is simply campaign fodder for election/ re election, after they are elected they
have a ready bag of excuses as to why they didn't keep campaign promises, and this president
would serve as an apt example. Just the raw unvarnished truth. Wall Street triumphs always,
the poor people of Joplin, and New Orleans take it in the shorts. Realpolitic.”

was a show on discovery (I think, or NG) about Tornado Chasers, that often showed the devastation ( sans body parts ) of Tornadoes . . . . I don't recall any righteous indignation for that.
