“Actaully it was the central banking system that may have contributed to the problem, because it did not use the regulatory power it had, since as Greenspan said he thought the markets could self regulate.. and he has NOW said he was wrong...
That central bank also saved us at least for now. Only reindustrialization and getting rid of repugenomic failed BS can allow for that..
The private banking system assts were backed up by (67%) since the 30s when they failed during the great depression of Hoover.
“Oh man, you seem to understand this issue sans the comment about some sort of "stimulus effect" of QE2. The only "stimulus" of quantitative easing is padding the pockets of rich bankers and helping politicians along with their pet projects.”
“The day that we employers just give up on giving low skill workers an opportunity to make ANY wage. Lucky them. I guess no job is better than a low wage job in your world, huh?”

“Hi, with all due respect, where did I say that? I really wish people wouldn't make statements that I neither said nor implied. I never said "don't work because no money is better than some", what good would that do? It would be detrimental to the individual and possibly their family, if they have one to support, and the welfare system, which btw, I don't even happen to believe in as a gov't funded institution. I take the Libertarian Party's stance on it.”

“plenty of work; just heard the farmers of GA were worried about AZ laws passing... wondering who would pick their peaches...
“It's nearly impossible for this mess to "end badly" if we hope to save the dollar. We cannot create asset bubbles in perpetuity if we expect continued support from our creditors. Commodity prices may very well be undervalued.”
“(1) President of the United States of America is not running the world.
(2) How did you arrive at the conclusion that he is racist? Or does freedom equal racism through your utopian lens?
(3) Dr. Paul has a long history of helping the poor and underprivileged. Though you wouldn't know this because he doesn't advocate Marx's view of social welfare.”

“Look into his past a little. He ran a blatantly racist newsletter in TX. His campaign manager took the blame the last time.”
“Guns don't kill people, people do. Maybe we could have the automakers pay every time someone gets hit by a car.”

“Oh, please. People without guns can kill people. Guns are designed for death. Cars are designed to get from place to place. Our corrupt congress won't allow shooting victims to sure gun makers for damages.”
“Understandably, because they will have paid for the silly program for 20 years! The same goes for SS -make people pay for something their entire lives and they will want a return. Let's hope the Supreme Court puts the kibosh on it.”

“Huh, funny you use SS in your retort against HCR since the same argument was made with SS that the government couldn't make you buy something. Funny how that same argument against SS failed miserably with the SC.”
