“I knew far more Christians who loved the Harry Potter books and defended them to the few who judged them before trying them.

“It seems conservatives have much more open minds, reading a wide range of fiction and seeing movies put out my secular companies. Your minds are closed and ridiculously so, and it seems you don't even realize it. Lots of points of view are interesting if not acceptable to one side or the other. I'm a Christian who enjoyed Eat, Pray Love and Harry Potter and a wide variety of works by people with very different ideas than my own. I don't feel the need to punish those whose ideas are different than my own. I guess I'm more tolerant than you are?”

I also think the Dixie Chicks would disagree with your theory of how conservatives have more open minds.”
