“although i do not agree w/ transgender lifestyles, i DO NOT agree w/police brutality of ANY KIND toward anyone. He wasn't even doing anything. he was standing w/his hands up. They didn't decide to tase him until he turned around & said "be sure you're taking pictures" Theyre supposed to warn you before tasing. I did'nt hear no warning. *smh*”

“I agree with the warning protocols before tassing! Now I don't totally agree that it is a transgender lifestyle. Perhaps it is a lifestyle for some, that is, crossdressers. But, I have no idea what it would be like to feel trapped in the wrong body. I can only imagine. The same applies to those who are intersexed. Just imagine being born with both genetials. Definitely, not a lifestyle! Just born that way.”

“Transgender is not a lifestyle. It is a medical condition which is corrected by gender reassignment surgery. And no, I am not transgendered. I simply took the time to listen to someone who is and did the research on the medical aspects and treatment.”

“I don't agree with the lifestyle of ignorance.”

“Yeah you had to throw out your DISDAIN for the "lifestyle" first?? To me that invalidates your comment after that point.”

“Although I don't agree with brown eyes.. I don't agree with police shooting people with tasers while they stand raising your hands and complying with the police directives.”
“this is terrible advise! what hell is a "normal" parent??? *smh* at these dumb, impractical articles making parenting something it really isn't!
I listen to my children & show INTREST in them & whoever they decide to be.
Their freinds look up to me & think I'm HELLA cool. My girls think the world of me & always come to me looking for advise & share their lives w/me openly. I know they may keep some things, which is expected, but for the most part, I don't experience none of the b/s I read here.

“I'm with you...though I am sure some teens are difficult, mine are not....we talk about any and everything...they were disciplined as kids, but I was there to listen and encouraged them in whatever they wanted to pursue....today they are grown, but we can hang out and talk, watch movies, anything and enjoy it....I”
“WOW. "a small contingent of pro-Mubarak forces on horseback and camels rushed into the anti-Mubarak crowds, swinging whips and sticks to beat people. Protesters retaliated, dragging some from their mounts, throwing them to the ground and beating their faces bloody.”
“Well, that was profound! If you want to be taken seriously, you need to back up your opinion with something more than just saying you don't like it, making a broad reference to the national debt and what the government spends money on. As gcfaas and I already pointed out, you didn't even get that the money being spent was China's. You were wrong when you said it was "our money." You also obviously don't get that spending money on cutting edge research is important, something we should be doing if we want to have a future. Gazing at the sky won't do it!”
“this is too much.
dont we have more important things to spend our money on than this?
no wonder our country is TRILLIONS of $$ in debt.”
optimist7 on Jan 28, 2011 at 09:17:40
“Wow! Your comment is sure too much! As already pointed out, this innovative research is being done in China! We owe them money, they don't owe us. It's not our money. You're worried about the deficit, and your next breath would probably be an utterance about wanting your taxes cut.
My reaction is dismay that cutting edge innovation is now coming from China, and fear that the US will be left behind.
The desire to take the country back may be realized, but not in a good way. America, the backward, third world country of the future, repaying trillions of dollars of debt to China, accumulated by giving tax cuts to the rich, subsidizing global corporations, and squandering the nation's treasury on military machinery and endeavors? Nah, don't waste any of your money on science or innovation. That attitude is what is just too much!”

“Hong Kong University, China!!!!!!! Also ever heard of innovation, it is kinda important for progress...”

The early moon calendars were likely kept secret among women, according to Marshack. In some societies, the sexual act's connection to pregnancy and childbirth were also kept secret. William Irwin Thompson's The Time Falling Bodies Take to Light covers this situation in the findings at Catal Huyuk.
“i see another invasion of privacy law approaching.
sad stories like this will make "US" give it away in order to "prevent things like this from happening"
-its sad. really. Im not taking light of the situation, but she already had her mind to kill herself. she already added up her life & decided it wasn't worth anything. she just had Facebook to announce it instead of a letter to leave behind.
makes me wonder what kinda "friends" did she really have in her life that wouldn't be checking up with her to care enough to call.”
“THAT is what I thought. he ain't no daym 'christian' b/c its NO WAY that CHRIST would value an animal over huMAN that was created in God's very image & likeness! Jesus didn't come to save animals...He died to save the souls of HUMAN BEINGS!!!
