JonBenet Ramsey's Killer 'May Be Lost Forever' Because Of Unsigned Indictment

Commented Oct 28, 2013 at 17:55:08 in Crime

“The cover-up continues, which just proves again how big money can influence a criminal investigation. Consider this: No mysterious stranger broke into that house and wrote a kidnapping note containing a money figure that just miraculously equaled the amount of a bonus that John Ramsey had just received. Whoever wrote that note must have been very familiar indeed with the Ramseys' finances. Very oddly, most news media simply ignore that wildly incriminating bit of information and harp on the "mysterious stranger" possibility. And another thing: The fact that DNA found on Jonbenet's underwear supposedly does not match any family member's DNA -- if we can believe that -- it does not mean one or more family members were not involved in the murder or cover-up. The DNA could have been left by someone who had no connection with the killing, a remote possibility but more likely than a mysterious stranger citing Ramsey's bonus amount. Yet this news story editorializes that "tragically, (Patsy) was still considered a suspect when she died." Tragically? The DNA tests proved nothing conclusively, so there's nothing unreasonable about suspicion.”

-- The U.S. government slaughtered hundreds of thousands of people needlessly in Iraq for no good reason.
-- No one was held accountable for that war crime, just as no one was held accountable for Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, arguably Afghanistan and several other unnecessary wars.
All that should provoke nausea, not belly laughs, or maybe Linkins has been in Washington, D.C. so long that he is unable to tell the difference.”

“I've read plenty of American history, including the First Amendment, which states plainly that "Congress shall make no law regarding the establishment of religion." That's what inserting a god reference into a government oath does -- it "establishes" religion as the only acceptable moral framework. That's blatantly unconstitutional and improper.”

I was appalled recently to learn that it also has been tacked on to the oath administered to new American citizens. That's really offensive in many different ways. It's time for our government to grow up and stop requiring people to buy into these crude superstitions. Enough is enough.”

Commented Oct 24, 2013 at 17:16:12 in Green

“Why are pit bulls so feared? Well, in the state where I live about two kids or adults per month are torn apart by those "darling" animals. And invariably the clueless owner will be on TV scratching his head and swearing the dog was as nice as pie -- before it attacked. Actually, pit bulls are just a small part of the problem. Dogs have become such a plague on our neighborhoods that all of them should be severely restricted -- de-barked routinely or banned completely. The quality of life in many communities has been completely ruined by noisy and dangerous dogs.”

Commented Oct 10, 2013 at 22:24:47 in Media

“The big question: Can Alec Baldwin break out of MSNBC's corporate, faux-liberal mold and stimulate genuinely fresh thinking and debate? We all know how "liberal" the network is when push comes to shove, such as when war looms. It happened again as the U.S. prepared to bomb Syria several weeks ago: MSNBC anchors began talking like little Gen. Pattons as they seemed to salivate over the prospect of another big, messy -- but very profitable for General Electric -- war. Then Russia stepped in and acted like the adult in the room, spoiling the plans of Sen. John McCain and the right-wing, and apparently some faux-liberal media outlets as well. This is the kind of scripted, predictable, corporate "liberalism" Alec Baldwin no doubt will be urged to parrot in his show. Let's hope he can do better than that.”

“Too bad most U.S. politicians -- and apparently a lot of generals as well -- didn't learn a thing from the Vietnam War and keep making the same mistakes over and over. Of course, since the 1960s America has been in the war business, and the big profit lies not in winning a just war but in fighting any low-level war year after year, with all those tax dollars flowing to the military-industrial complex. That's why the worthless Afghanistan debacle has been kept going year after year.”

“According to MW religion is defined as: a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith

Atheism is the BELIEF that there is no God, not a fact a BELIEF. this makes it a religion. It is not an organized religion but it is a religion. It is unfortunate that people like you seek to ban religion. You show the same blind hatred that the religious fanatics show that you claim to fight against. “This kind of "education" is blatant child abuse. Why does America allow children to be subjected to this kind of misinformation? It's ridiculous. Americans should demand new laws and/or constitutional amendments 1) Banning religious indoctrination outside the home for any child under age 18; 2) Repealing all tax breaks and exemptions for religious entities; and 3) Firmly separating church and state by prohibiting prayer in public schools or other government meetings or government-hosted gatherings of any kind, and prohibiting the use of religious symbols, language or references of any kind on public buildings, property, roads or publications.”

Just the opposite is true, with many Americans being forced by high costs to get health care abroad. And U.S. health care already is "socialized," but in the worst possible way -- with private health providers tapped into America's financial jugular vein, sucking out huge amounts of tax dollars that go into private bank accounts and CEO salaries.”
