“Some Americans were hood winked by the Boo$h Admin into thinking that Iraq was a noble cause, it wasn't, there were plenty of us that knew better and plenty of us that protested and tried to stop it. Sadly the anti war protesters were criticized, demonised, and accused of being unpatriotic, UN-American, disrespecting a president in a time of war, called te-rr-or-ists on and on and on. Your right, getting informed and working together is fast becoming a necessity. Unfortunately we still have a large number of people so bitter over this Presidency that they are working feverishly to sink it, not realizing that they will also sink the whole country along with this Admin.”

“Those people are hopeless if they haven't figured it out by now. We need to punish those who lied to the public. Until that happens, we won't recover as a nation. I hear Britain is about to do an inquiry into the Iraq War (again) and they will hopefully grill Tony Blair and perhaps -bring him up on war crimes charges. Maybe we can follow their lead, if this happens. I hope it does.”

“Americans thought they could do whatever we wanted when we invaded. I remember hearing people laugh about how easy we "won" the war there. That was a popular sentiment early on. Truth was, Americans didn't know anything about war. Well, we're learning now - with every job loss and every massive budget deficit. None of this had to happen. Still, we can't blame it all on Obama. He can't fix it, let's be real here. Americans have to get involved and get informed if we want to survive. Right now, it looks pretty dicey.”
