“Zachary Quinto's video made me cry..to all the rude commenters out there-why would you be so hateful when just on Friday a gay teen committed suicide due to bullies like you? I pray for Jamie Hubley's family and the families of the numerous others who've died the same way...:(”

“I'm sick of people oversimplifying this and making it a bigger issue than it is. Bullying has existed in some forms forever. I was bullied terribly as a child and adult. It taught me to be tough and stand up for myself. Sympathizing and broadcasting it as a national tragedy is making it worse- teens think their deaths will be glorified and all over the news, and sadl;y their right. These kids are obviously disturbed and seriously in need of counseling. There's no ONE reason for anyone to commit suicide. It shouldn't be addressed as a tragedy in need of federal legislation. It should be spoken about honestly and seen for what it is: a bunch of sad, depressed, weak and foolish kids, looking for attention in the wrong places.”
