Tragically Charismatic

Commented Nov 05, 2009 at 00:16:15 in Business

“the political climate over the next 3 years is simple. its easy, the more the repub party panders to their right wing extremists, the worse it gets for them. And the more the dems pander to their left wing radicals the better off they are. i and everybody i know who voted for the first time and put obama over the top have already been tricked with words. now its time for action. Or go get elected without us. If you can.”

Combating the Disease of Progressive Cynicism

Commented Oct 08, 2009 at 20:32:12 in Politics

“Im cynical because health care reform is being directed by a conservative from Montana.
Im cynical because because Iraq and Aphganistan have no end in sight.
Im cynical because Obama is ignoring civil rights for gays.
Im cynical because those who made it ok to torture human beings are free to go.
Im cynical because he is so eager for bipartisanship.
Im cynical because Obama refuses to take a stand against any republican.
am I wrong??
the problem isnt progressives being cynical. the problem is you Mr. Creamer giving Obama a free pass because he isn't George W Bush. frankly there hasnt been much difference. I blame you Creamer when I dont have a public option to afford health insurance.”

Ennis replied on Oct 09, 2009 at 00:38:07

“Correct, we cannot agree on everything.
Unfortunately we strongly disagree on the biggest issue thus far.
If the Constitution becomes only a mere suggestion of government conduct, than why even have it. Obama's promises of dealing with it later, is not good enough.
Promise me this, and promise me that.

I felt promised earlier this year, that we were going to have a progressive-dem as our nominee.
Well that promise seems to be gone now.
Great, once again I'll be forced to choose between an absolute abomination in W.McSame, or someone else who is just good enough.
STOP being just good enough!!!
Take a stand and be a leader Obama, and people will follow. The proof is in the primary.”
