Jackie Kennedy had the body for clothes. You could put her in almost anything and she'd look fantastic. Michelle is lovely, but has too many "body issues" to be truly classically beautiful along the lines of Jackie. That's why some of her outfits are stunning and some...not so much.
Laura Bush - again a lovely woman, but her body type will never permit her to look anything but dumpy no matter what she wears. And Barbara Bush dressed appropriately for her age and body type. Did you really want to see her in a white strapless gown?
Personally, I'm glad we've gotten away from the FLOTUS uniform - the straight skirt, boxy jacket, single-colored suit. Thanks Michelle for that!”
