“Cindy McCain reminds me a lot of Nixon's wife, I've read that he wasn't much fun to live with, especially in the final "dark days" in the White House, when Nixon's personal "Demons" really manifested. Both Nixon & John McCain seem to have deep-rooted "demons" eating at their very CORE, their "soul" if you are religious. McCain has the additional repressed anger, of being an extremely AMBITIOUS man who wants to equal his Admiral Daddy & Granddaddy. But, he doesn't have what it takes, so ends up riding on their COATTAILS his entire Navy performance pathetically MEDIOCRE at best, dangerously RECKLESS at worst, showing a juvenile total disregard for the safety of his fellow Navy CREWMEN.. In his marriage, to me it looks like a classic case of him being a "PASSIVE-A­GGRESSIVE"­, at best and probably blowing up at Cindy, on the occasions when they are forced, for appearance's sake, to be together for long. They live separate, not even in the same STATE; a marriage of POLITICAL and BUSINESS convenience.

We know JOHN McCain is a womanizer, I wonder whether CINDY McCain is content with a pretty STERILE, loveless marriage -- or if she too, has looked for loving relationships elsewhere, since he is obviously too cut off emotionally to provide such comfort and love? Their story would make a great basis for a nighttime SOAP, in the mold of "Dynasty" or "PEYTON PLACE"!”

“I think lot of American (and other) women are cowed by the bullying of their husbands into accepting a lot of crap (such as McCain obviously dishes out to Cindy on a regular basis).
