Six Months Later, an Oil Disaster Spreads Across the Gulf

Six Months Later, an Oil Disaster Spreads Across the Gulf

“I've heard those same arguments for 1 and 2, and I think it's disinformation (deliberate BS). As for 3, I beg to differ. It's _not_ on par with rumors about Obama's tortured soul. It's on par with "Oil companies have a long record of cheating, lying, covering up, and ruining local populations and ecosystems."
In the corporate media, you won't find much evidence to support my assumptions. You need to check out independent, regional news sources such as http://www.oilspill.labucketbrigade.org and http://www.floridaoilspilllaw.com.”

“Mr. Kistner:

Why didn't you mention the increasing health problems among gulf-coast residents?

Why didn't you mention the fish kills?

Why didn't you mention the covert, continued spraying of Corexit, and the ongoing, literal cover-up of the filthy evidence onshore?”

“Possibly because

1) the health care issues have not risen to a number that are either statistically significant or reliably tied to effects of the spill
2) recent fish kill in many parts of the Gulf and elsewhere in the US are associated with nornmal summer algae "blooms"
3) You need to provide evidence for the continued Corexit use. That is on a par with the President is not a Christian.”
