“Whether you want to admit it or not, consciously or unconsciously, the only reason anyone hates homosexuals is because it says to in the bible. Well, that or fear of their own latent homosexuality. Which one are you?”

“I don't enjoy discussing gory details of my period any more than people enjoy hearing about it. But the fact remains that we must bring the subject of re-usable menstrual products out into the light. Women and girls have been kept in shame for far too long. There are ads for paper and plastic "feminine hygiene" products on television all the time. Articles and discussions like these are no different and can be handled with just as much tact. Even if you don't have one, chances are you know someone who has a vagina.

I have been enjoying reusable cloth pads for 7 months now and I would never go back. They are far more comfortable and customizable than pad or 'pons. They cost less. My stash of six maxi pads, six panty liners cost me $60 have already paid for themselves in savings over disposables.
They are easy to clean, wash by hand or just throw them in the wash with the the rest of the sox and underwear. I hang mine to dry so there is no cost for the dryer.

I quit smoking because I couldn't recycle the butts. I eat more fresh fruits and vegetables now to lower the amount of packaging I purchase. I compost my food scraps to keep them out of the landfill. Switching to RCP (reusable cloth pads) was the next logical step in reducing the amount of trash I produce.

Great article, thanks so much.”
