“No true liberal should want this bill dead, because real liberals know the history of health care reform in this country and that we've never come this close to passing a bill that, while not perfect would still help a lot of people. The alternative is simply unacceptable. If we let this bill die, it'll be another 10 to 15 years before we see attempts at reform. And doing that time span a lot more people will die and suffer because of lack of health care. Pass this bill now and continue to perfect it as the years progress.”
