“The treasury can print its own money (it's been done before !).
The banking system as it stands is run by private interests and money is printed up out of thin air, loaned to the Govt with interest added on..Guess who pays off that interest ?
The bradbury pound is what is needed. http://www.ukcolumn.org/bring-back-the-bradbury”
“'Told by whom?' >His masters. We are not in a democracy, and only fools actually believe we are. The UK is run like a corporation and we are just ants to them.
If he does well in their eyes, once he leaves office he will get in all the top clubs and positions with them.”

“I think that politicians could make a difference in many areas if they were not mostly self-serving and put the needs of the UK and it's people first.
There needs to be drastic reforms to the office of M.P.and the House of Commons,to the expenses that can be claimed for and the House of Lords needs to become a democratically elected chamber and we need to go right back to basics that M.P.'s are there to serve the country and the people, not themselves.”

High cholesterol was long held to be a sign of hypothyroid.

“I see what you mean...the vaginal knitting should go a long way towards aiding these goals”

“I think you miss the message in the art. But, you are correct it is only the shock value that starts a conversation about "lady bits" that legislators don't want to hear. They have sensitive ears apparently... alluding to another comment I made earlier. I like this. It rattles prudish cages and makes people get out their dictionaries and medical journals to get involved in the conversation. Some very powerful people cannot carry on a clinical conversation about women's health. But, they want to write and pass legislation that invades women's privacy and takes away their decisions about their own bodies and family planning.”
“What do you mean by 'true feminism' in your earlier comment ?”
Kirby Wendler on Dec 5, 2013 at 15:44:24
“"defining, establishing, and defending equal political, economic, and social rights for women" ... not just equal pay on the job. All of the above are included in feminism... emphasis on social equality in which religions are the worst offenders.”
“couldn't watch it past 1 minute 5 secs ,bub ; just a load of scheming politicians”

“Didn't have to watch to see the title... "Misogyny Speech Sparks War of Words" in answer to "there is a war?" Just one of example of many women politicians who are speaking out against the insane views of many male politicians... misogynistic views.”
“What has ''not in a committed relationship'' got to do with it ,please ?”

“Sorry, I wasn't clear how I wrote that. What I meant to convey was exceptions to your point--which I am in broad agreement with--about being free in the middle-age. So if a woman is not in a committed relationship and/or does not feel her looks are past its prime, the sense of sexual freedom/adventure is confined to that one partner, which in this age is not necessarily a bad thing, but simply a fact of their lives as well. There women I was in conversation with all felt that was a big regret factor. Perhaps more so than waning looks.”
“I never met a woman with those regrets mentioned here, most of my friends have the regrets listed by the men. I suggest that European women have less conservatives ideas about sex. Not so hard to understand. ”
“Anyone remember why all this 'austerity' this last 5 years or so?
As I recall, it's due to 'the debt' is it not ? This con where we all pick up the tab for wayward banking and can never dream to pay it off...
How about a solution ? There may be one if the treasury can issue its own money...it has been done before ,and apparently I hear some countries (Hungary, Iceland, etc) are issuing their own money again after booting out the big families of banking.
We could re-introduce the Bradbury Pound.”
