“Florida statue 798.01:

"Whoever lives in an open state of adultery shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

It is illegal in Florida.. So as you would say: So There.

Also, this isn't about a pity party for Elin. Having said that, I'm glad she kicked his a$$. Hope she takes half.”

“You write:
I for one appreciate it, when celebrities, actors and sports people don't try to get above themselves and meddle in politics.

If they or anyone else wants a say then they should run for office and get educated which many of them don't do and its irritating

I write:
In a Democracy every person - celebrity or not - should be well-informed about politics. That's the foundation of Democracy. You need to be well-informed to vote and help your community.

You write:
No you cheat on your kids if you neglect them or abuse them, and CPS would tend to agree with me

I write:
By being a serial adulterer, as Woods is alleged to be, he is neglecting them.

You write:
Wheres the link for all these "suffering people in Dubai". Dubai is hardly Sudan

I write:
The organization, Human Rights Watch, says the migrant construction workers building Dubai are little more than slaves. Many work 12 hours a day, six days a week, in extremely hot temperatures that have led to illness and, in some cases, death. The workers live in crowded camps, with eight or more men sharing one small room. No, it's not as bad as the Sudan, but I would not directly associate myself with a government that supports these abuses.”

Well informed does not mean meddling. Politics is already everywhere and the sports filed is the one place where people can put all that aside, but now it has to be there to. Did you see what happened between the Isr.aeli football team and the Ir.anian one, they put aside politics to wish each other a happy new year. We need less politics in sports not more

You have no evidence for Elin's capabilites as a mother, neither. You have no clue as to whether she was with her kids 24 hours a day. Also I'm sure CPS would rather have the kids with Tiger than a woman who uses golf clubs to make a point.

He is the bread winner which enabled the gold digger to stay home, wouldn't have happened on her old paycheck.

Yes having billions in the bank isn't a measure of a person but cheating on a gold digging nanny isn't the end of the world either.

HRC didn't say Tiger Woods should get involved.

The migrant in Dubai have something to do with Tiger Woods, maybe if hes not available then David Beckman can make a speech or Mr Duggar. LOL

What are you doing for the migrant workers in Dubai.”

“You misspell adultery two times and you claim I do not understand English. You're as funny as you are uninformed.

Dude, adultery is a crime in many states

It is ILLEGAL in:
Alabama... Arizona... Colorado... Florida... Georgia... Illinois... Indiana... Kansas... Maryland... Massachusetts... Michigan... Minnesota... Mississippi... Missouri... Montana... North Carolina... Oklahoma... Rhode Island... South Carolina... Tennessee... Utah...Virginia.

Now, the HuffPost has had a bizarre obsession with the whole Woods adultery "crime." They need to lighten up some. So, if that's what you mean then I agree.”

“Let me address your points:

- Yes, he should be judged on his political stance. If you are making money off of the sweat of oppressed workers, dealing with corporations that rape our Earth and partner with people who break the law

- His charitable donations are admirable, but do not dismiss his indiscretions.

- All citizens must be accountable for the political decisions they make or do not make.

- As far as I know, the women in Sudan are safe

- If you cheat on your wife, you cheat on your kids. All that time he's sticking his Driver into some woman is time he could be raising and loving his kids

- "Trophy" wife... hmmm is that why he married her?

- Elin had a job. A good paying and VERY respectable job - a Nanny.

- The level of prosperity Tiger Woods offers his family is not the issue here. But, it if is - for you - who cares if you have a Billion in the bank - or nothing. That is not the measure of a human being

Finally, I have been a big Tiger Woods fan. My issue is that upon closer inspection of who he is, I'm no longer a fan.

“It's also important to note Woods' failure - not just as a husband and father - but as a human being of great influence who repeatedly turns away from important political issues. This week's The Nation editorializes on this issue. An excerpt:

... Dubai, site of the first Tiger Woods-designed golf course. Located at the southern coast of the Persian Gulf, Dubai has been a symbol of economic excess and, most recently, economic collapse. It has been called an "adult Disneyland"--complete with indoor ski resorts and unspeakable human rights violations... it is a city that has been built over the past thirty years by slave labor. Paid foreign laborers work in more than 100-degree heat for less than $3 a day. Dubai also has a reputation as ground zero of the global sex trade. The project cost $100 million, and Woods said nary a word about his benefactor's practices. This is business as usual for Woods who would sooner swallow a five-iron than take anything resembling a political stand...

“You have no idea of his capabilites as a father. He cheated on a trophy wife not his kids, he has provided for them to live in mansions all on his paycheck.

Do really think they would live the life they do if they were relying on Elin to get a job?

He is not a politician, its there jobs to sort things on a country level out.”

IMEHO replied on Jan 03, 2010 at 16:29:56

“So now he has to be judged for political things he had nothing to do with.

By the way in 2007, Tiger Woods gave 9 million to charity, more so than Brangelina who gave 2 million, yet they cheated and they are saints.

He has never claimed to be a politician, now lets just blame the failure in Sudan on Tiger Woods,

You have no idea of his capabilites as a father. He cheated on a trophy wife not his kids, he has provided for them to live in mansions all on his paycheck.

Do really think they would live the life they do if they were relying on Elin to get a job?”

Commented Dec 31, 2009 at 17:44:25 in Business

“I dislike Kudlow.
Arianna was wrong, though, in her blasting him for a prediction that he made ten years ago about something he calims will happens ten years from now.
Every second of a TV interview is precious - you get so little time - and she should have focused on what the value is of moving money to smaller banks:

- pointing out that big banks have curbed business lending even since receiving TARP money
- how big banks are spending millions to stall financial reform
- how smaller banks are being unfairly treated by congress
- community banks are typically more conservative about how they manage their money
- they are closer to the people they serve and communities they reside in

... and much more.

Instead, Arianna actually devotes time to knocking Kudlow and - in the next segment - trying to prover her assertion.

Wasted opportunity.”

oneputtsteven replied on Dec 31, 2009 at 18:12:55

“Agreed.

In defense of Arianna the conservative talk shows are as rigged as your county fair carnival games. Kudlow did nothing but talk over her, interrupt her and spout his talking points.
I mean why bother? Debate them on neutral grounds NOT on their shows.

He even charged her with an ad homien attack while, make an ad homien attack on her in the next breath.”

rf-hawaii replied on Dec 31, 2009 at 18:08:22

Arianna would do well to organize herself to better feed the sound-bite monster.

Impact and message are everything.

Kudlow lied or forgot, but it wasn't that important.”

Why are the numbers higher for Fox then they have ever been for MSNBC or CNN? Progressives are more inclined to find their news on the internet than watch it passively on television.”

“I do not like that Tiger Woods' personal life is all over the net and news. It's none of my business. Yet, Tiger is a major endorser of many products - some of which I purchase. If he has lied -as has been alleged - to his wife and family can I trust him when he says "Buy this because I think it's a great product..."

Now we all make mistakes... but allegedly the extent of his lies to his wife makes him a sort of Bernie Madoff of adulterers. That unfortunately - to me - is news. And it's sad.”

aero56 replied on Dec 06, 2009 at 17:09:23

“I don't like it either!! And as long as he is not doing endorsements on family values, I can take his word on other products. But I believe you're stretching it with your comparison to Bernie Madoff. Totally unrelated and not nearly the magitude. Tiger has brought tremendous pain and embarassment to his wife, Elin and their two beautiful children, and his mother. I've always felt there's a special bond between mothers and their sons...someone that they can guide to become that "ideal man" that all women would love in their lives. And in the matter of these outside women, Tiger has failed his mother in a tremendously. The pain he has wrought upon those precious four people is very serious, but all can recover. Madoff ruined an incredible number of people's lives, many who will never recover...nor have the capacity to do so.”
