Charlie Crist Phone Message Directed Callers To Phone Sex Hotline
Commented Dec 05, 2009 at 09:20:42 in Politics
“People from Florida (other than the rednecks and racists) know Crist is incompetent. He would never have been elected as gov, and only fools will vote for him to be Senator. This will be interesting, in Nov 2010 Crist will show if the fools are more numerous than intelligent people in Florida. Should be interesting.”

True Patriots Are Not Silent. They Speak Out.
Commented Nov 21, 2009 at 05:50:24 in Politics
“Actually, as a firm Obama supporter, I feel that Obama has been "way too silent, too passive and too willing to be patient with injustice. " This is not the Change he promised and he will lose in the primary in 2012 to a real Democrat.”
mitsie replied on Nov 21, 2009 at 08:36:53
“Well Americanwhocares, you are impatient, and need to learn that everything he promised to do, can't be done in ten months. If you think someone like Nader, Paul or anyone else of that calaber can do any better, then you go on and vote for him/her, but you will be throwing your vote away. Do you really think that any other Democrat would have any easier time trying to get things through Congress? If you think it will, you are naive. The Grand Obstructionist Party will be the party of no, no matter who is in the W.H. and even if it's an Independant, that won't change things.
So if you and others want change, perhaps you should vote for more progressive representatives in 2010 and 2012.”

“americanwhocares, frankly I think we have been too silent. As we the people, everyone should hear us, President Obama, is not perfect and can stand improvement in some areas but we haven't had one president that was perfect, no not one. Change, is here but we have to change also we vote people in office and then think our job is over, it is never over, to keep change you have to stay in the fight for change. Yes, this president could improve in areas but not one of the last 5 presidents has had to edure what he has, we also have democrats who voted against the healthcare reform, now ain't that a shame, that's a low down dirty shame. A house divided will fall.”

“This is great. Faux non news (motto fairly unbalanced) brings out all their media apologists to try to cover up the fact they are just a republican machine. The MSN is going down the tubes, rightly so, because of their lack of real reporting. These clowns are controlled by big business and they all assume (in many cases rightly so) that Americans are dumb. The two ladies work for organizations that are right wing or used to. How interesting the clown moderator has two right wangers and one real journalist on to discuss the issue. Tells you all you need to know about the lack of objectivity in MSM.”
Leaderless: Senate Pushes For Public Option Without Obama's Support
Commented Oct 25, 2009 at 09:54:08 in Politics
“President Obama is a huge disappointment, and he is insuring that he will be a one term President, and it will be decades before America elects another African-American for President. I totally supported Obama, voted for him and sent a campaign contribution and I feel betrayed by him. He has not kept most of his promises (his promises of real change are why he was elected). I will not vote for any republican (party of no brains), so I must support a true progressive Democrat in the primary leading up to the 2012 elections, someone other than Obama. I truly wish now that I had support Hillary Clinton.”

“i am keeping my eye on Gavin Newsom - he did something I thought was impossible in San Francisco, which was find a way to galvanize the community to humanely house a large number of homeless in a way that allows dignity and provides opportunities for them to become productive members of society. Prior to his administration "helping the homeless" meant confiscating and destroying meager belongings, harrassment, brutality and so forth. There are still homeless in SF, but they tend now to be the ones who refuse help because it would mean staying clean, or obeying rules.”

“Sad, but true. I campaigned for him, got in a huge brawl on election day for him when conservative campaigners got pushy, defended him even when I was wondering what the heck he was thinking.. ..
But now, I'm done. He has sold out to corporate interests in all cases.
I do wonder though if Hillary wouldn't have done the same. Either way, there will be no progressive in the oval office. I actually want him to royally screw up now, so that there will be a better chance that he loses the primary. It's our only hope in 12.”

Commented Oct 24, 2009 at 06:02:37 in Politics

What this means is that the base will demand real Democrats in office and will support primary challenges to these corporate Dems and spineless Dems like Harry Reid and President Obama. Progressive Dems are not going to lose, they are going to get the right people in office to do what we demand, not break campaign promises like Obama.”
