They could contribute to their communities in so many other ways. For these hypocrites, the hateful thing is the thing they do the best.”

CNBC's Clueless Mark Haines Calls Me "Clueless" on Morning Joe: I Respond

Commented Feb 04, 2009 at 15:27:25 in Business

“These guys sream "socialism", but they want to be bailed out. It just really chaps me. The true capitalists in this country, are the small business owners. I would never, ever deny, or chastise anyone the right to make a decent living, and even becoming wealthy in a capitalist society. But, this isn't capitalism. Arianna is correct in saying that in a capitalist world, businesses fail, and in it's place is a new business with new ideas. We need to stop this mind set that we have to bail out every corporation because of how it hurts the economy. Look at the unemployment rate. It is sheer lunacy. They get rewarded for ruining my retirement, taking away from the elderly, taking away from our children? Wall street jerks like this infuriate me. They have a lot of gall, to call us clueless. Oh, we were pretty clueless before, but Mr. Haines ... we've been schooled, lesson well learned.”

“Rush Limbaugh to me is a joke of a man, and makes a mockery of those people who listen to him, but sadly, he's not a joke to a a lot of Americans, who really believe, and take heed to what he is saying. This man has no scruples at all. I have listened to him, I really try to listen to all sides on any given topic, and draw my own conclusions, but I cannot stomach listening to this man. The only way to hurt Rush is to shut him down as a real political figure.”

“Good Lord, is there anything that Bush did not s.c.re.w up? That man is leaving a legacy alright. He is going to make it impossible over the next 48 days, and counting. I have college aged children, and this isn't easy for them. I know that they are not only going to be paying off the debt for this bailout, but student loans as well. I knew that GW would fight things, and the GOP will oppose these much needed changes, and the Chambliss win was a downer, so all I can do right now, is take a deep breath and wait.

I support our 44th President's efforts 100%. He is the one I worked hard to help get elected, let's see what he can do. I am tired of hearing everyone in the media second guessing what he is doing. I know that we are anxious as we read the news daily, but the countdown has already begun.”

“On NPR I listened to next-President Obama's news conference to announce Bill Richardson as Commerce Secretary. What a team he is assembling! And hasn't he already held more press conferences in 3 weeks than GWB has held in 8 years?

The media will always second-guess because that's what they get paid to do. It's up to us to choose to pay attention to them or not. Some time ago I decided to no longer waste my time on FOX or Limbaugh or O'Reilly. They divide us and hold us back, with nothing forward-thinking to offer. I have no patience for any of those guys and I would question their patriotism. They waste America's time for their own silly self-promotion. I would hope that America would turn them off and devote our energies to the work at hand - rebuilding America and its leadership in the world.

Thanks for your post. Please stay tuned, stay engaged, and stay strong.”

Time to move on, and worry about other things. It must be really hard for these hypocrites to get up and look at themselves every day in the mirror, and hate who they see. Anyone who likes themselves does not do, or say these things. Only miserable people want to see other people miserable. So much could happen in this country if these people who stir up fear, and hatred would just go away.”

We have a president-elect who wants to really be united. To me, if we do answer the call to duty, America is a true super power. We show the world, we may have mess up trusting our former leaders to make free trade agreements that are fair trade with other countries, but they didn't. So we have start again, united yes we can, divided we can not..

“For many small churches, most donations go toward helping local and extended communities through day care centers, GED Programs, Food Pantries, Senior Housing, homeless shelters, prison ministries, and financial support to congregants. Much of the work is done by volunteers. And many local Pastors receive no salary at all. In addition , many pastors and other Christian leaders continue working F/T jobs while also serving in F/T ministries.”
