“To this day Japan refuses to take full responsibility for the systematic killing and raping of the people of Nan King. That's the only point I was trying to make. Also here's an excellent film on the subject.

“Nothing will be done about this until someone puts it on the big screen. If this atrocity were to be reenacted in a movie, people would start to contribute money, call their congressman and generally get involved. Someone needs to shine a spotlight on the Somali death squads, the same way that Michael Moore shined a spotlight on Bush's Iraq disaster with Fahrenheit 911. Unfortunately, this is just going to be another quick newspaper snippet, which will quickly fall by the wayside and be forgotten.”

“NEITHER BARACK OR HIS CAMPAIGN ACCUSE THE CLINTONS OF RACISM.. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO WERE WATCHING ACCUSED THEM OF IT.. AND IT HAPPENING AGAIN.. I FOR ONE FEEL THEY ARE SALTY BECAUSE OBAMA- A BLACK MAN OUT CAMPAIGN THEM, RAN THE BIGGEST CAMPAIGN IN HISTORY, . yes I deeply feel they are racist, because they didn't see this coming, they had no idea that a black man would beat THE CLINTONS..

. An Obama loss will most certainly be part of THE CLINTON LEGACY..”

“Has it ever occurred to anyone that maybe Bill is upset because he and his wife were accused of being racists? You can't take that back. This isn't second grade. How can people accuse the Clinton's of racism in February, then complain he's not helping enough in September? Why would Obama want a racist to help him? I don't hear anyone complaining that David Duke isn't doing enough to help Obama.”

Lucida replied on Sep 25, 2008 at 05:59:43

“I also assumed Bill was still salty because he was called a racist. But the Clinton's can not pick and choose the political strategy that favors them ALL the time. Didn't HRC say that BHO would not win the "white working class" vote??

Hillary launched (sorry, her "campaign") launched the first bomb with racial undertones and BHO (sorry, his "campaign") countered with an identical strategy turned on its ear in SC. I do believe that the Clintons got beat at their own game and now they are pouting and licking their wounds like petulant children.

“Good luck convincing people on here that Clinton was a great president. It's like kicking water uphill. You can't blame them though, most of them were in diapers playing with their beanie babies when Bill was elected.”

Mysticalsister replied on Sep 25, 2008 at 20:17:13

“Bill Clinton was a great president, and he is also a deeply flawed man. He sold us NAFTA, for which NO ONE EVERY CALLS HIM TO ACCOUNT! Why is that? The republicans baited Hillary on health care and then excoriated her for trying to do something they might approve -- I don't blame her or Bill for that (yes, I'm old enough to remember.) I despise him for "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and several other issues, but he did understand the economy and we were better off.

But his latest lukewarm statesmanship is reprehensible and for that I cannot, will not, forgive him. Too much is at stake for him not to take a stand. Every time he sneezes, he gets air time. He could be helping, but he's too concerned about his own shaky legacy.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way, Bill. Stop giving comfort to the enemy.”

“Yes, medicine for the sick and food for the starving. Can't get much goofier than that.”

renatam replied on Sep 25, 2008 at 00:57:49

“Medicine for the sick and food for the starving is provided by American charities and the Federal Government -- every day -- every crisis. Clinton is now trying to ask for online small donations (because of imploding financial markets and his waning influence) -- competing w/Red Cross and other ACCOUNTABLE charities. He has fused his business deals and fundraising -- to the tune of one billion unvetted dollars.

Let's see how philanthropic he will be when his donations from international dealers don't have someone in The White House to provide "favors" -- and, he has to rely on the small donations he is now discussing (influenced by Barack's success) to continue his CGI vanity platform.

Bill Clinton is not the person to lecture anyone on civics. Triangulation is the opposite of civics.

“Like I said back in June "there will be plenty of time to heal the party after November". Sorry, but you Obama supporters picked a fight, and now you're going to take one on the chin, in the form of a McCain/Palin presidency. Did you's really think that you's could paint the Clintons as a couple of blatant racist a-holes without paying a severe political price? Personally, i'll probably hold my nose and vote for Obama, but at the same time, I realize that i'm actually voting for the next Mike Dukakis.”

I hate to say it too because i'm normally a super-loyal Democrat voter and contributer but I ain't getting on this flaming zeppelin,no matter how 'cool' and 'hot' he seems to be. “So we seem to realize now just how biased all the TV media is. These hillary vs obama commnets are just what McPain and Rove want - either hillary or Obama are fine - hanging on to old feelings is only going to help us lose.

Since watching CNN is getting dems nothing but frustration why not boycott all cable news channels - seriously. If we don't watch it won't change the polls as CNN is just rerunning McPain adds - SOOOOO boycotting them will really hit them where it counts (ratings) and may send them a message as well. Win or lose the election may not be as important than letting media continue the biased reporting AFTER the election......I say boycott cable news and stay tuned viw web sites like this one.....REALLY!!!!!!”
