“Put your money where your mouth is and return all the money you made working on the show then I will think he is sincere.”

“He won't. Hypocritical to the max, which is not shocking at all.”

“I'm sure his new Christian friends are scheming to separate Angus from his money.”
BluestateGuyInTX on Nov 26, 2012 at 17:08:10
“OK Angus. Let's see if you are really sincere. You have made a lot of dough on this show I suggest we consider Matt 19:21: "Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.". Probably don't want to be that perfect do you Angus? ;-)”

“That is always such a funny response to people complaining. If I worked for an organization that I found did bad things, I don't think my first act of anger would be to return all of the money I made at my job. I think quitting would suffice.”
“I understand completely. She thought she was saving her child from the pain of knowing that her father just can't be bothered to visit. I thought about telling my daughter her father was dead. At least then there's a reason he doesn't visit other than he doesn't want to see her.”

“Rich celebrities who have had nanny's since their kids were born cannot relate to real single moms. They need to stop talking like they know our struggles. Her words are almost as ridiculous as her outfits. She is so tacky!”

“Did you know that Christina was not raised rich? She was raised outside of Pittsburgh, PA to a single mother. They struggled. So, yeah, I think she can relate. She came from a poor background and became rich and famous. Isn't that what the AMerican Dream is all about?”
FlaviaDeLuce on Nov 19, 2010 at 13:54:19
“the way she speaks she has probably never seen what I see on my way to work, mothers running while pushing the stroller to get thier kid to preschool with disheveld hair, their toungue hanging out, trying to fit 500 things into the morning so they can go to work and provide for their young,
she is always plastered with her makeup, the fake tan, the bleached hair, 5" heels.. not very realistic for someone who's supposingly suffering”

“She is NOT a working Mom. I am a working (single) Mom. I get up at 5:45 am and get home at 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. I do all the cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc. for the family. Living your life in front of cameras and getting paid for it is not "working." It's whoring yourself (and your kids) out for an easy buck. Don't even try to put her in the same category with REAL working moms, like me.”

“While I think an 80s flashback is a cute idea, my problem is this: in real life Carrie and Charlotte would NEVER have been friends (at least not in their early 20s). There is no way someone like Charlotte would have been friends with someone like Carrie, and vice versa. They would have had NOTHING in common.
Oh well, I will wait for the reviews. I didn't think I'd like the first movie, but I did. They will definitely need A LOT of gauze on the camera for the flashbacks!”
AnglScarlett on Sep 10, 2009 at 13:34:20
“I doubt it's a flashback, it could as easily be a costume party they are headed to.”

“But wouldn't that be the case for them today? The whole point of all of the relationships between the women was that they were all different and brought something different to the table. Despite their many differences they could still appreciate each other.”
“Why is it that people are reacting as though being accused of being gay or bi-sexual is worse than being accused of being a murderer? What's that about?”
RuinedSaint on Apr 27, 2009 at 15:58:42
“I don't think the issue is that he's gay or bi-sexual; the issue seems to be more about how his daily persona is in conflict with his private persona... Much like the train wrecks of Senator Craig and Ted Haggard.
It's also possible that he's not gay or bi at all... He may have just considered hunting men as well as women but changed his mind. Maybe there are men out there who were victims but haven't come forward because doing so would "out" them when they don't want to be outed.
We'll probably never know, all things considered.”

“It's not in my opinion. However it's just one more piece of the puzzle that he was possibly leading a 'secret' life away from his family and fiancee. And if it turns up more correspondences, this could only serve to assist investigators.”

“Because in the United States, being gay is worse than being a murderer.
Being a murderer is one thing, but being gay is WAY WORSE.

“Most sex criminals have a definite preference or MO.
This new revelation opens up the obvious. It really was about simply targeting people he designated as "vulnerable" for money.”
“To be fair, Franken did graduate cum laude from Harvard and has been involved in politics for years, albeit as a commentator/comedian. Nevertheless, he ran a campaign and was elected - unlike Ms. Kennedy, who apparently feels she is entitled because her family has done great things in politics. Patterson needs to pick someone who has actually fun for office and paid their dues.”
“Why does everyone think that children of single parents are all high school dropouts, drug addicts or strippers? I know many drug addicts who grew up in a a two parent family. Making sweeping generalizations like that is very ignorant. Let us not forget one very impressive child of a single mom - who will hopefully be the next president of the United States.”
cominginsecond on Sep 22, 2008 at 12:51:44
“No one's saying that all children of single parents are high school dropouts and drug addicts, just that the likelihood of that happening goes up significantly when a child is raised by a single parent. It makes perfect sense too. Parenthood is hard enough with two parents. I can't even imagine doing it alone.”
