“perhaps you've never sat anxiously beside someone who was bogarting a joint. however, it does look more like a cigarette --- perfectly shaped --- than a joint --- and she didn't hold it in very long ---and she aways tended to look stoned anyway. but the intimate setting seems to suggest they're all stoned. and people by and large don't share cigarettes unless they're in a combat setting --- though i don't even smoke cigarettes and i'd share a cigarette with marilyn monroe just to get her dna on my lips. my guess is, they all got stoned and now they're just sitting around smoking a cigarette.”

“i saw the actress in question here whose name i can't pronounce or spell or remember in a movie called 'I Could Never Be Your Woman" and was so amazed by her that i proclaimed to my aunt, "She is going to be a GREAT actress!" good singer too. just perfect. never saw atonement. i read the lovely bones cuz it sounded like a wonderful premise ---- but the authors concept of heaven was so bleak that even if there was a purgatory, even if there was a holding cell to get into purgatory --- it wouldn't be as depressing as siebolts view of heaven. so i probably won't go see her movie. but i will root for this young actress to win awards and receive great acclaim all her life. and she will have a wonderful life.”

BikeFreak replied on Nov 26, 2009 at 13:27:12

“In the book "The Lovely Bones", did you get that everyone's version of heaven is different?

The main character's version of heaven is like it is because that is what she knows and finds comfort in.”

“Obama should say to garret, “before we get started, I’d like you to explain to me how on hannity’s show they inadvertently spliced footage from two months earlier into a news report --- accidental footage that helped support their exaggerated crowd numbers. I mean, I’m trying to imagine how you unintentionally dig up something from a computer file titled 9-12 and wedge it into a story that takes place at the same spot in mid November. I mean, I’m only asking because of all the controversy surrounding whether or not your network is, truly, as you all steadfastly maintain, often, as in the case of hannity, with your chins jutting out indignantly, fair and balanced.””

“we need jobs? that's easy. you make all the people who have outsourced our jobs and who've sent factories over seas or down to mexico bring them back --- either that or strip them of their citizenship.”

Joethepauper replied on Nov 16, 2009 at 17:05:10

“I like that approach too. Or, the more the percentage of outsourced/imported labor, the more tax burden they should bear. If the corporate tax rate is 30% and they have 30% outsourcing, etc., they would pay 60% in taxes. Same for tax havens (whatever percentage they are hiding offshore equals to the tax burden on top of the normal rate). I like the idea of stripping their citizenship. i just wish we had an island to drop them on for exile (like the British did with their criminals in Australia) These solutions are too commonsensical for our elected idiots to understand.”

“how do you inadvertently splice footage from some other story some months back into something you filmed the day of the broadcast in question? if it was some random cyber glitch the odds would be that it was some unrelated thing, like bishop wright yelling in anger, or some lady in kenya saying she remembers obama being born there. there's just no way on earth that that was an accident, there's no way on earth hannity's response is not a lie. in fact, i hope people are going through everything ever broadcast on fox with a fine toothed comb before some poor intern in the fox basement is fired for his "mistake". because this is the sort of stuff they do all day long every day. thank God the weather changed or maybe no one would have noticed that they had misrepresented reality in their passion to be fair and balanced.”

“Hello FZ. I respect your insight into all of this, What are the odds that someone like oswald would happen to get a job at the book depository a few months before kennedy drove passed it – without the assistance of someone who KNEW he’d be taking that route? Also I read in manchester’s book that dealy plaza was the only place on the route that had NOT been checked out and protected by the secret service. And why did Johnson who had so much power in the senate need so badly to become vice president when, as I understand it, the vice president had no power in those day?”

FZliveson replied on Nov 06, 2009 at 23:47:01

“Applehead, Our friend John Russell hit the nail on the head when he said that Ruth Paine facilitated Oswald getting the job at the DSBD.
Paine's husband worked for Bell Helicopter, which sold thousands of helicopters in the war that came after Johnson became president..

As for Johnson becoming V.P., he once said that "being V.P. was like a bucket of warm spit." Johnson was on the floor of his car before most of the secret service had reacted to the shot. Look at the famous Altgens photo and you can see JFK with his hand up in response to the back shot, you can see lady-bird and above her an open window just beneath some stairs on the balcony of the Dal Tex building, where 1 or more shots may have come from. You can see no Lyndon Johnson.

Read about the back shot from O'neil from the secret service:

“dear campbell brown. you say msnbc is "biased" as if that makes it the exact other side of the same coin from what fox news is. the difference is that fox lies and msnbc does not. just take any ten random quotes from fox and test it for 'BS", then take any random ten quotes from msnbc and test THOSE for "BS" and THEN tell us that both networks are equally 'biased', when BIASE is not the ISSUE, TRUTH and LIES are the issue. if you really can't tell the difference between msnbc and fox then you can't tell the difference between truth and lies. And THAT is what is “SILLY.””
