Survivor: Heroes vs Villains: Never Wear Feathers in Your Hair.

“I so love your reviews Talluha! More entertaining than the actual show!

When Voldepussy uttered his "you've got to be weak to be strong" line last night a song began running through my head and now I can't get it out.....

"You've got to be cruel to be kind".

Make it stop!”

“Dame Edna Everage once said, and I've taken it as my personal credo: "I must be cruel to be kind, and if I want to be very kind, I must be VERY cruel. In fact, so much do I love you, I'm willing to be utterly monstrous to you."”

“...sung to the tune of John Prine's "Muhlenburg County"(sp), right? NICE..”

“I ran out of space to credit the old traditional "Streets of Laredo," but "Muhlenburg County" works as well. Thanks. ;)”

"My Fellow Prisoners," McCain Calls Americans

Commented Oct 8, 2008 at 17:54:59 in Politics

“I agree perturbation, I work in the mental health field (and have a diagnosis of and teach a class on PTSD). How can some of McCain's symptomatic behavior NOT be PTSD related? Not that there's anything wrong with that, many of us with PTSD struggle with triggers and anger, etc.

But I don't believe he thinks he has a 'problem' so how can he even begin to deal it? I also work with people through the VA. Unfortunately for McCain, he's 'old school', from back when getting help for mental health issues was a no-no. For him, admitting he's having some 'issues' is a sign of weakness.

Luckily, the majority of people I work with consider that a strength.

Silence In The Face Of Hate Makes McCain-Palin Unfit To Lead

“Thank you Baratunde,

Sadly this is why I had to stop calling for Obama. For my own mental health. I live in Ohio and was blown away by the closet racists. I never knew. I voted today (early voting in Ohio) for Obama of course, but I'm very worried about all those closet racists.

There are people out there sucking up the 'silence in the face of hate' and believing it.

“I am in Florida, and I am working on Ohio, too. I called about 200-300 churches completely on my own to bring attention to the issue of voter caging. I have sent nearly 30,000 emails also targeting Ohio.

I encourage you, ariadne4641. DO NOT GIVE UP. When you call someone, find out what their concerns are. Do not be confrontational, but trap them with logic and use their terms/language to get your point across. OK. Now onto the #2 debate!”

How about 'Repugnants"? 'Cause what I'm hearing/reading is truly repugnant. I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone or something.

I live in Ohio and have been calling the "undecided" for the Obama campaign. I am stunned by the stupidity/apathy of the voters here. So many are truly racist and ignorant with no apparent energy to check out Snopes or any other fact finding web site(for those who have internet access]. I have heard it all, now I can't even call anymore, I'm so sickened.

As far as Sarah goes, she should just stay home and let Tina Fey 'do' her. If she doesn't it'll be a great show. And Tina can 'do' her this Saturday on SNL.

“LOL, gottahope.

But, seriously, yours is the best plan yet. Plus we'd even have money left for health care.

My question. How come when it's something the American People want....we have no money. But when it's something the 'G'overnment wants [a War, a Fannie and Freddie, a Bailout], suddenly we HAVE the money?

Why is that?”
