“I have not bought quinoa and will never do so after reading how the natives in South America who depended on it as a healthy staple can no longer afford it due to the demand elsewhere and have been forced to turn to inferior cheaper substitutes.”

“It's called ethically sourcing your foodstuffs. I understand your point, but you can still responsibly enjoy quinoa.”

Quinoa is more nutritious than corn and it hasn't been "Monsanto'd" yet so no GMO worries. The answer is to start cultivating it here in the states instead of importing it. However, introducing this product to U.S. Big Agriculture is like trying to introduce a new political party. There are many forces working against it.”
“Never saw any of his films but always liked seeing his handsome face appear somewhere-sad to think of it now burned beyond recognition. After reading about him now and learning of his charitable pursuits, I hope they will now be publicly recognized and celebrated and he will be remembered as having so much more than that lovely face.”

“I do not like horror all that much-but watch this-just to see these great actors getting to show their chops. Women who have honed their artistry to such a fine degree and then upon reaching a certain age-usually lay forgotten by the unimaginative corporate greed of Hollywood.”
“It is the intent of the action that matters most. "Orange is the New Black" being
a favorite show of hers and Halloween colors to boot-someone had to be
that character among her friends and she picked it without meaning anything derogatory. The black face characters of old were shamefully intended to make fun of insulting stereotypical characteristics . Juliana simply wanted to depict a CHARACTER in homage to a TV show she enjoys. It was not intended as a CARICATURE of an entire race. Nice of her to apologize anyway.”
“Was hoping that the daughter's story was maybe serving as some sort of metaphor for Carrie's life or a parallel to it. Then upon further review, after the disappointingly simplistic end to last season's story lines, where they just blew up the difficult ones. I fear Dana's may just be about the business of ratings demographics and that the producers and Showtime want to target the younger audience. Witness all of us old fogies who are unhappy or cannot relate to her storyline. Besides I am already tired of this season's boogeyman-the Iranians. I am not sure I am engaged enough in Showtime's offerings to continue paying for them any more and can wait until they are somewhere else. Too bad because some parts of the production are so well done.”
“So desperate now that her talk show has been canceled that she has to resort to the old bag of tricks that once worked for little Kim? So sad that these silly vain people have been capable of sustaining themselves as distractions for as long as they have. May now leave the Huffpo until they can lead with something better on their "entertainment" site and leave the Ks to the celebrity site. Or is it just that there are not many of talent or wit who are even allowed to become mainstream these days?”

“What would you expect in a country created by enslaved huddled masses of one kind or another whose yearning to be free was the enticement used to bring them here by those who wanted capitalize on their labor and numbers?”

“I'd expect us to not be more workaholic than even Japan is these days.

“Sometime it seems he is the only one making movies for mature adults- craving a good movie with wit and a story and not just weapons and sophomoric humor. No wonder his films are doing so well-he is trusted to at least provide something finally worth the price of admission in a summer with so few films that have had anything interesting to offer.”
“Is killing the patient because it has a rotten tooth the solution? The days he longs for where the days where parents could earn enough to pay for the feeding of their children-when both parents were not forced to work long hours away from home just to pay for basic needs, when health care and insurance where in the realm of possibility-when college was affordable. Where would the money come from to pay for non-mandatory education? Home schooling?-for these families. How many parents have the time or funds these days to do it? The problem he sees is not due to the schools themselves but the whole the direction this country is going in. Profiteers now leeching onto the educating of the children is not a solution. He is just another greedy capitalist with no conscience.”
“They chew on the same story all day-and if they do not have one-they'll whip up a controversy for the day. Instead of doing the work investigating to find the good story-they sensationalize one item and coast on that. They also focus too much on a few certain teams and a few certain players.
Lazy. Does not seem that you will not miss anything if you miss ESPN.”
“Poor Austin surrounded by a sea of ignorance. Never wanted to go to TX never will.
Oil money corrupted power does not do any good for anyone.
Poor unwanted fetuses that will now have to grow up uncared for and poorly educated in that terrible state.”
