So, do you really think that people were that nice to Pres. Bush? Really?
I would respect somebody more if they had enough strength to tell me to my face if they did or did not like me. And in return, I would respect them even more if they were secure enough to stay and listen to my response after their comment was made.
Back door comments are weak. I don't think that it is correct to say one thing to someone then turn around and mutter under your breath the opposite.
But if that works for you, then that's what works for you.
I don't see Obama as green or purple or pink. I don't care what ethnic background he chooses. I see him as a man, period. My opinions of who and what he is as our president is based on what I think of his performance in this office!”
“Quite frankly, I don't think that Obama gives a rats rectum about that guy either. So why should he care to re-establish respect?? All Obama wants is to get these guys to do what he wants. Why does this have to be a win or lose situation?
Not that you care, but you have no idea how intelligent I am and yet you make such a stupid remark on how smart you think I am! What's up with that? This has zero to do with emotions until right when you made it so. That was rude and you know it. So what's your point?”
“Maybe you should ask at least 160K citizens how they feel about ObamaCare and Obama, since their health insurance got dropped or raised at an extremely high rate since last August.
So, waiting a few more weeks or months won't be nearly as fruitful in finding those who either support or want to see him in a positive way.”

“Maybe YOU should be asking the millions and millions of people who's insurance rates (myself included) have been reduced by almost half because they can no longer charge me more because of pre-existing conditions. Or the MILLIONS of women who can't be charged more JUST because of our gendrer! Or maybe you should be asking the millions and millions of people who never COULD get access to insurance because of their pre-existing conditions! Or maybe you should ask the millions of people who are paying $20 for a Tylenol tablet because people without insurance aren't paying their ER bills! So WHY WAIT ANY LONGER?!? IT'S WORKING ALREADY!”
“Conceptually, I have no affiliation to the Tea Party. I have no need to comment on any body's race. I see people as people, not as they race they are. In terms of drivers, however, that's another game altogether.
To make comment directly to a person is not evidence of hatred. It appears that in this case, it is a situation of disgust, which is totally understandable.
Respect is earned. In my opinion, after respect it is lost, it has to be re-earned. And it takes a good deal of time to re-establish respect. I do not give respect back easily, but that's me.”

“Well, that's you. I raised in a military family and was taught to respect the President of the United States, which is the highest elected office of our country. No where in the our past has a seating president been treated with such disrespect. A lot of people didn't like Jimmy Carter but when the President called them to his office, they came, We may have elected an African-American to be president, but the history books will note how he was treated.”
“Nah, I disagree with you. Now saying it "behind his back" (as if it makes a difference, ay) might vaguely qualify as rude or disrespectful. Saying it to Obama's face is really very appropriate and quite possibly very truthful.
Obama and Reid deserve as much respect as any other human being. When they lose respect, which appears to be the case here, one has to work very hard to re-establish it (if indeed they care to). And then, it is only the person who chooses to respect them, that has the responsibility to allow respect to resume.
In fact, if Sessions said it, he actually honored Obama by saying what he chose to say, to Obama's in person.”

“Ok....your ridiculous point is taken, but tell me exactly what could be accomplished after this? What was Obama supposed to do to earn his "respect" after that comment? What about the millions of people negatively affected by the shutdown and potential default? Who won and who was the most mature in this most dire situation?
As I said, you're not smart enough to think past your basic emotions and post intellectually responsible posts....”
“Exactly where do you get "bully" out of saying, if indeed Sessions did say it, that he couldn't stand to look at Obama?
What you said is inane and ignorant.
If that is your picture, I can equally say, that I can't stand to look at your picture. But who cares? And, seriously, why do you?? So, let's see has nobody has ever said something not positive about or to you?
Come one Einstein, come up with something more intelligent.”
“Tell me. Why do you need to make this a personal issue?
This is about politics. Namely the politics of this national government making a nationwide government decision to force a particular Health Plan down the throats of all US CITIZEN'S throats without even taking the time to READ IT!”
“With that being said, this is just the very beginning of what has been in the works for at least, what, 3 years? And it was voted by all of those people who represent YOU and say they represent all of us. Now, which single one of them READ IT, before or after they voted it in???? Find just ONE person who read the whole thing that voted on it BEFORE it was voted on and in.
At a minimum, Obama should have read the whole thing before offering it up for a vote AT ALL!”
“As long as any politician chooses one "team" they will lambaste the "other team". So what's new there?”
KGM61 on Oct 21, 2013 at 23:59:02
“New or old its not a game with teams. Whats new is being willing to crash the economy to get your way. Little shortsighted. Releasing cia agents name in spite, enacting the patriot act and then griping when someone else uses it. Just to name a few.”
