“The people around her were her enablers , they brought her endless food and obviously cleaned up after her .
Like being drug pushers , just keep feeding her problem .
What was their motivation to take part in this downward spiral ?
They had to know what they were doing , the entire household was in on it.
And how did they even afford the cost ,the grocery bills should have flipped on a light switch in somebody's brain.”

“I'm old enough to remember when she was new and a skinny little thing , if there is a serious health problem ,Im sure it relates to a very unhealthy attitude towards food .”

“babby..I was slender my whole life but after a few car accidents(none my fault) my health changed. I have gained weight, developed high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes and now cannot lose the weight. The medicines I am on are controlling the health issues but they also leave me tired and weak. I eat healthy but it's just not happening. I used to think like you but now realize That bad eating habits is not always the case. Have a great day.”
“Butcha do Blanche ,Ya do .
Christmas shopping at good will for your mother in law and putting it in a Nordstrom's box.
You or Hubby (or secret snuggel bunny) ,that hubby knows nothing about ,having your car tracked by police computers for location ,time and date ,as well as frequency ,As in a recent California lawsuit . But legally a public record ,so anyone could track your movements for an unlimited time .
Pictures and videos can be interpreted any way you want.”
“Lets put streaming videos from peoples bedrooms and bathrooms on live websites .
He's right ,its not his business anymore than its your's nor mine .
The entire world is freaking out over privacy concerns and spying ,both locally and internationally . How can anyone pretend indignation these days with a straight face.”

“Sorry but I disagree. As an adult it became his business when he came upon the event. There is no doubt teenage drinking has it's faults, and too often those faults turn deadly. It is also doubtless that teenage drinking is illegal. He knows this. He had a moral responsibility to end the party, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had a legal obligation as well.”

If you have nothing to hide, why worry so much about CCTV and cameras everywhere?”

“But don't forget some populations never consider how much worse the future consequences are when someone dangles a promise of a free ride in front of them ,and tells them they bare no responsibility for their current situation from past unsustainable demands based on the taxation of others .
Its just a big ponzi game with somebody else's money.
Consider the roll over of debt ,just to pay off the short term interest and never paying off the principal . That was the basics of subprime mortgages , when individuals do it they lose everything, when governments do it ,they sell more bonds.
Eventually the numbers don't add up . Also consider the geographic situation of Denmark . I don't think you'd expect mass migration from the southern hemisphere to a cold place with 7 hours of dull daylight .The homogeneous population of Nordics guarantees some common mindset ,and little cultural differences that separate the population .”

“Happiness is the responsibility of the individual ,not the state .
When the state doles out 'Happiness' its called a bribe .
Witness the voting patterns in the US , people vote based on race and entitlement promises ,the fiscal health of those municipalities tell you the facts .
Secondary cities abandoned like Detroit , near death like Baltimore ,housing prices and taxes just dont make any sense as you pay the equivalent of a poverty tax .supporting the non productive people who make the city unlivable ,the schools unusable , the surrounding suburbs unaffordable by way of providing the bulk of property taxes .
Yet these nonproductive people vote every time for the scoundrels who bankrupt the city . The last mayor of Baltimore caught stealing from a christmas fund for children , and funneling city contracts to her friends was Sheila Dickson.
DC , Marion Barry , who just won't go away ,while in prison had hookers service him in plain view in the visiting room.
After his release ,He gets elected to another post ,is caught doing drugs having sex in a car after dark. Yet the man won't go away or shut up.
Its called "get out the vote" .so the shelters ,mental clinics , and even the cemeteries are casting votes.
Its the reason they used to shut all the saloons during elections in the old days ,many a vote has been bought for the cost of a glass of rot gut .”

“Denmark and other European countries protect their domestic industries. They don't offer tax breaks to companies to offshore jobs, and don't enter into lopsided trade agreements that put their workers into competition with the lowest wage workers in the world.
The Detroits and other "broken" cities were the first victims of offshoring our manufacturing industries. We've now offshored 80% of our manufacturing jobs - the jobs that provided a living wage and built a broad middle class.
What you have left after you hollow out domestic industries is Detroit and other rust belt cities. Do you seriously think the people of those cities WANTED to be thrown out of their jobs and forced to flee the city or live at a subsistence level?”

“Right on target ! I couldnot have said it better !”
“Its actually very well done ,despite everyone judging it on the subject depicted .
My quick guess is that its of dutch origin and possibly from the 1600s.
I wouldn't dismiss it as worthless .
obviously it was sent by mistake .”

“I agree. There's quite a level of skill there, and it does look like it's from the Dutch Masters era. They should have it professionally appraised before they make any decisions.”

“Was thinking the same - Dutch. Maybe someone who studied under Vermeer.”
