The Economy Is On A "Sugar High" And Its Growth, Fueled By Government Intervention, Is "Unsustainable," According To Famed Investor

“PIMCO, the worlds largest bond fund at $203 billion. What does that number tell you about the level of intervention by the Fed and Treasury or the cost of war? We are in deep doodoo and there is no evidence that the people in charge intend to preserve what is left of our manufacturing base or look out for the real source of all wealth, the working class.”

He hasn't admitted any mistakes, because he has a hidden agenda which works in service to elite fraudsters. They pay him millions to spout nonsense.

“Able veterans? Star-studded cast? Well OK Volker, as if he has any say. Otherwise, you’re looking at the cast that destroyed Brookley Born, a dedicated, honest, smart public servant that worked hard to keep derivative trading regulated. Geithner, Greenspan, Rubin, Summers drove Ms. Born out of the Chicago Commodities Exchange. Almost immediately her predictions hit Long Term Capital Management, which collapsed. Ten years later we get a 1000 fold worse calamity with the same “veteran” “star-studded cast” pulling the same stunts, whose agenda consists of helping a small secretive circle of crooked traders at the expense of the rest of the country.”
GOP Lawmakers Flip Flop On Costly Health Plans: AP
Commented Dec 27, 2009 at 10:25:34 in Politics
“Rethuglicans didn't give a rat$ a$$ about deficits while they were in charge. Cheney declared, "Reagan proved deficits don't matter". They loaded C40 transports full of billions in cash and then dissappeared them. They rammed a pre-election medicare drug benefit through Congress in about a week, to buy the elderly vote and stipulated that the Government could not negotiate drug prices. They gave carte-blanche to Blackwater, Enron & Haliburton. Tom Delay legalized slavery in the Marshall Islands. Abramoff was bribing Congress right and left while the SEC repeatedly turned a blind eye to Madoff's ponzi scheme and his direct links to Goldman-Sachs, Merrill-Lynch, Morgan-Stanley and Smith-Barney. Cunningham was busy pocketed bribes for military contracts. Greenspan facilitated all of it with Bernanke by his side. No taxpayer rip-off was off-limits and ended with Paulson pulling the largest scam in the history of man. This is a short list of the problems which surfaced during the last administration. Hopelessly corrupt and incompetent. Unfortunately, the Demowussies health care legislative process made corruption even more obvious to the general public.”

“We can all learn from our own mistakes and get better by that process ( Mistakes which are historically too often repeated).
We must not confuse "mistakes" with systemic fraud,or let our Government cover-upand gloss over real crime. Who does Geithner think he'skidding when he claims the Meltdown on WallStreet was an "accident"? Naked short selling, proprietary programmed trading, fake AAA ratings, betting against junk securities you sold are NOT ACCIDENTS. Crimes have been committed which require prosecution and in other cases repealed laws must be reinstated.
Lincoln said labor comes before capital because wealth is created through production. Unless Wall Street is put back in its place beneath manufacturing, laws enforced and reinstated, jobs will not return and there will be no recovery. This will not be solved overnight. The quickest correction available to us today is to bring our troops home , use them only for defense, and close our 716 military bases on foreign soil. This will stop the red ink and easily pay for health care.”

Community Banks In Trouble? More Bailed-Out Banks Fail To Pay U.S. Dividends

“Not wrong, but hardly complete. As jobs dissappear and commercial real estate collapses along with it these banks are at ever increasing risks to the extent they are the prime lenders on defaulting mortgages. But the root cause of these problems have to do with the disproportionate power Wall Street fraudsters hold over Washington and their use of securitization, contrary derivatives bets and programed trading to hi-jack all profits for themselves and then getting Washington to bail them out when their fraud backfired. Just like Enron, the S&L disaster, BCCI and many more, we are witness to the work of organized crime, rackateering. Organized crime, unlike petty criminals, enjoys Government protection.”
