“The Tea Party is not a real party. It's a movement Why are so many pandering to them. Even the founder of The Tea Party movement Karl Denninger calls The Tea Party "a joke because he said it has been hijacked by the Republican establishment. It has now become about guns, god, and gays. That was not the intention. It was about holding the corrupt politicians accountable. Watch him on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmzH5hlsGfo”

“you totally don't get it. The commander in chief is to salute out of protocol and respect. To ignore this is disrespect and disdain for the military and country. But who would expect an animal to know this?”

“No, the real story is IT WAS CNN that reported this, & not that evil Fox news network. Seems the Lame Stream Media, who has ignored many important things the administration has done, is now reporting on some of the (non-story) petty items like this one.”

“What the heck are you talking about? Are use some scientific expert that has all the data to backup your statement? Or did you come up with that conclusion all on your own?

“Just because you feel how you feel about the marriage issue, doesn't make you or it right for everyone. I can respect your feelings on the matter, no matter how much I may disagree with you. I would never ever tell anyone how they should live their lives or tell them that their type relationship isn't a legitimate one. For one, that be wrong, rude and oppressive. For two, it is ridiculous, ignorant, and totally lacking in empathy Rights and freedoms should be for all and not only for those you feel are deserving.
Here in Canada, marriage is legal for every consenting adult. It's a part of our Charter of Human Rights. As an American & Canadian citizen living in Canada, I have executed my right to marry my partner of 18 years. Our bond is as strong as any other two people sharing in a loving, committed, monogamous [human] relationship.
Many issues in America have changed for the better over time, because it was the right thing to do. Here are some examples why change is a good thing and why "the majority" is not always right.
The Emancipation Proclamation of 1863 ending slavery.
In 1920 Women were given the vote.
In 1962 the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously rules that laws banning interracial sex violate the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. And in 2000, following a November 7th ballot referendum, Alabama becomes the last state to officially legalize interracial marriage.”
