“Great point! People seem to "believe" in an unbridgable chasm between an a creator and the laws and properties of creation. Divine intervention does not entail suspending he naturally orndained order for what would be our convinience. For those who hold the Christian faith, the beauty of Christmas is the fact that God redeems creation by entering into it not acting aprt from it. “I was prescribed Topomax for my migraines, but my doctor did tell me that one of the side effects would be weight loss, which I need. That was the WORST medication I ever took. I was speeding and hyper anxious, then I would crash and become depressed. (maybe thats why the other meds were prescribed?) My skin broke out in a bunch of scabby rashes. I had to quit taking it within two weeks.
I went to an acupuncturist for my Migraines and haven't had one since. One of the ways of taking down the big pharma industry is to stop buying the medication. Look for alternatives first.”

“Sadly the multiple narcotics and controlled substances DO NOT treat bipolar except in a round about way .... as a fair amount of those found in rehab have dual diagnosis issues such as bipolar.

I could have been reading off my own list of meds for the last couple months, dealing with nearly constant cluster headaches. Those who immediately jump to druggie conclusions just don't realize how lucky they may be to live in a nice, healthy body. Go out and enjoy it rather than judging those of us who find ourselves in a different situation.”

“Possibly. Klonopin, ativan & propranolol likely for panic attacks/anxiety. The two anti-seizure medications are definitely used as mood- stabilizers in BPD, which must be on board before an anti-depressant is used or mania can ensue. If she was DM type 2, she surely shouldn't have been taking steroids- they increase blood sugar. Maybe the topamax was used for migraines & shes augmented w narcs. I say- poor thing.
