Trayvon Martin Case: Witnesses Change Accounts, Which Could Hurt Zimmerman

“Also he no intent of staying his truck the 911 operator asked him where should the police meet you he said, "have them call me on my cell," This indiates he had every intention of pursuing Trayvon because he didn't know where he would be.”

“It's very likely Trayvon knew he had a gun. Remember Zimmerman was chasing Trayvon. If you listen to the 911 calls. Z said, "He's checking me out. (then you hear something opening and closing..) Then Z says, he's running. Why would Trayvon just start to run. This is before the bing bing bing of the car door is heard. What did Trayvon see that was so scary that he started running before Z charged out of that car to start running?”

Trayvon: Justice or Just Us?

“If you listen to some of the witnesses closely they contradict the police reports even saying officers manipulated and even changed their versions of events.”

“Of the witnesses that have changed their stories, the two girls that appeared on AC360 have been discredited by both sides. The only other witness that changed “his” story was the 13yr old boy walking his dog. He said that it as GZ (man with red sweatshirt) on the ground. His mother, who wasn’t there, claimed that the police pressed him for the description of the person, which is typical for police investigations as the memory will only get more clouded with time passing.
Additionally if the police originally wanted to charge him with manslaughter, and that is what the original police report cites as the offense, why would they bolster the opposing side. It was the DA who decided not to press charges.”

Trayvon: Justice or Just Us?

“What evidence do you have that Trayvon "doubled-back" initiating the confrontation? You are quoting a killer who lied on the defense stand and would say anything to plead his case. Zimmerman lied to the family even in his apology. Even during this moment he could not say he was sorry and just shut his mouth. He said, " I didn't know how old he was I thought he was a bit younger than I. That night he had already said of Trayvon to the 911 Dispatcher, "he is in his late teens." When does an entire decade + 1 year equal a bit younger.

He also knew what the bail hearing was for and withheld important information during that hearing. Instead of relating to a confessed killer, I would consider that what he said about Trayvon is not true.”

“The came back came from Sanford PD. Chief Lee said "He came back to run his mouth frankly I wish he had just gone home."”

Trayvon: Justice or Just Us?

“What's appalling here is that George Zimmerman was given a slap on the wrist after admitting to killing someone.
The author addressed black on black crime stating no one would care if the killer had been black. Point is, had the killer been black the killer would be in jail. Watch the next 48, you will learn that if a black man kills another black man and proclaims self-defense in the midst of a scuffle, he will be immediately arrested or the police will do their job to find and arrest the culprit.

Courtrooms, prisons, the entire judicial systems are filled with African American's fighting minor to major offenses. Zimmerman supporters use statistics of the number of blacks incarcerated and convicted of crimes calling Trayvon just another “thug” who deserved what he got. Some point to statistics saying black men are more likely to rob, kill and steal.

However, others want to address the biggest elephant in the room. This case is evident that blacks are more likely to be ticketed, cited and even arrested than whites are. Instead of pointing to statistics, it’s high time the statistics are questioned and those with authority be held accountable in doing their jobs treating everyone equally.”

“With this facts no one should have been arrested at all. If the shooter had been black it would have ended as justifiable homicide and closed.”
