Venezuela Protests Continue As Violence Escalates

Venezuela Protests Continue As Violence Escalates

“It is sad to witness the "return" of cold war block into power: Russia in Ukraine; Russia, China and Iran in Syria; LA's "revolutionaries" communo-socialists in Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Cuba, Bolivia... Argentina and Brazil will be the next...”

“Nice to know that you're against democracy, since the governments in Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia were ALL elected by a popular vote. The inanity and dishonesty of you RWers is stunning, correction, predictable.”

Joseph Zelinski on Feb 20, 2014 at 19:35:11

“We could only wish they were revolutionaries more like opportunist with no consciences will to swing any direction and do anything to keep power. How do you keep the US out of that list? Of cold war block, if it was on purpose I agree. Some how the US is a little less involved than I expected to see. A big shift to the pacific and more on our own.”
What Brazil Can Teach The World About Living Well

What Brazil Can Teach The World About Living Well

“Manuela, once I read a quotation stating that Brazilians, prefer to hear a lie loaded with feelings to hear the truth stated in an assertive manner; and that Brazilians are unable to deal with the word "no", because they feel embarrassed to say no and get profoundly hurt when someone disagree and argues against their ideas. So perhaps that is the reason why, there so many outer world positive articles about Brazil. I am a Brazilian living in Rio and I can testify that the quotation is 100% right and that those articles are 100% baloney.”

Estevam on Jan 30, 2014 at 13:29:18

“Have no idea of what you two have been reading, but I haven't seen these "positive articles" about Brazil anywhere. Honestly.”

“The article show the Brazilian flag in the picture. I am Brazilian and I can testify that the "mutiny" that took pace in Brazil over the Confederations Cup, were never against Globalization. It was indeed, just as in Venezuela, against all the unfairness, mismanagement and corruption caused by the Workers Party COMMUNE-SOCIALIST.”

“Taking a wild guess at what is happening, it seems that "much ado about nothing" is the western policy for Syria. Meanwhile the countries of the west poses as outraged and willingness to help the Syrian people against al-Assad's genocide, they let him exterminate the people and to explode the country to regain territories.”

“These Cuban's documents have been taken away from them and they must abide to behave according to the Cuban regime. These are trained agents sent to Brazil to entice the poorest classes to join the marxist's ideals and, consequently, to consolidate the Worker's Party autocracy in Brazil. What you are doing here is nothing less than applying the Gramsci method on the behave of the Workers' Party.”

Lucia Phillips on Sep 27, 2013 at 13:09:27

“You are correct!”

“Olga, your activities here only denounces that you are a Worker's party militant. I am brazilian and I can affirm that there are plenty of reasons why Dilma's domestic issues are important to the wellbeing of the Americas. The US should be watchful with what is happening bellow it's south borders. Dilma is an ex terrorist and a marxist. Her party founded, with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chávez & FARC, the São Paulo Forum. It's aim is to implement Hugo Chávez's Bolivarian Socialism in Latin America & Caribbean. Today, most of LA & Caribbean countries joined the Forum. Brazil's state is growing, it is protecting its industries from foreign markets and her party is destroying Brazil's legislative and judiciary powers. Russia and China's gov't remains in the hands of the communists. They also belong to the BRIC. That's worrisome and except for the marxists, no one else is pleased to have a Chávez style continental America.”

“The United States was reading Dilma's private emails, and what are you (Brazilian "anti-Communists") doing ? You're defending the United States!!! Treasonous behaviour, if you ask me. If you were living in the United States you would all be, at the least, put by the FBI in a watch list of "persons of interest", or possibly would be paid a visit by some men in black. You're fortunate to live in a democracy in Brazil, where you can get away with your anti-Brazilian stance. Democracy for which many people you call "Communist" gave their lives, or, like Dilma, were imprisoned and tortured.”

“If we observe the manifestations, the problem is the Brazilian system. The democracy representative system does not work in the country. Brazilians no longer feel represented by the system. They are demanding more participation in issues regarding the design and approval of laws or constitutional amendments, approval of government biddings and annual budget spending, as well as, public officers salaries and benefits. Now Brazil needs to deepen the debate in order to devise another democratic system model that suits the population. Brazil needs another system.”
