“Moral question? I wouldn't ride coattails or disown them. I'd get them help. As much as I love my family, I'd be the first one to turn one in. Today's equivalent would be bomb-making or threats of mass destruction - I don't care if we shared blood, it's wrong on ANY level to even think about hurting another human being. The thought of innocents being harmed and knowing I could've done something would devastate me. Any person - family or not - planning or even thinking about harming others is a sign of being psychologically unstable.”
“Now the moderators have completely blocked me...... all I'm trying to do is agree with some posts. I've been BANNED.”

“If you are banned how come I just read your comment ?”
Jesterband on Jul 13, 2011 at 19:39:08
“Obviously you are not being blocked. They are, however, randomly selecting people to try out a favorites first option. I know as I am unfortunately one of them. Check and see if a orange box is imediately above the beginning of the comments. You won't be able to get rid of it and it will continuosly show favorited comments first. Clicking on yes or no seems to have no effect.
But if you click on the bold face "here" or click on the view all tab you will be back in business.”

“is it magic that you are banned and still posting comments? wow, impressive!”
“Vant, neither could answer anything on policy. I emailed Palin a while back and suggested she say on TLC.... people either love her or hate her. I used to like her but now all I hear is noise when she's on TV. The only thing I want from her is more salmon fishing. (w TV on mute, of course) So cool.”
“B***HMAN, OUT.. I can't say it strongly enough. I've voted R and I've voted D. Other than HCain (who won't win) I've seen ZERO candidates worth my vote. ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZEROZERO ZERO”
“Regardless of the side you're on I totally agree w you Soc, unfortunately today being a politician is more about personal agenda and becoming rich than passion for country or the issues. IMO, morality has left the building (capital hill) as regards ALLLLLLLLLL politicians. (yes, ALL, as in each and every -single, solitary politician - on ALL SIDES)”
“Thank you! :-) I just can't grasp why so many of these politicians want to make it all about religion. Take the abortion argument, for example. They keep invoking the sanctity of life mantra with religious references, bringing religion into the argument when, according to the 1st Amendment, it does not belong there.”
“I am a fiscal conservative - libertarian. This guy is a freaking n^tj^b. Get the flip out of my bible and my bedroom. This guy is scary! When I go to church, that's MY business.... who is in my bedroom is MY business.... I watched the last debate, he whined like a little baby bc he couldn't get enough talk-time. I knew then I didn't want him as the face of my prez. S C A R Y. I don't want gvt OR pols (politicians, not Polish) telling me... I want them to SHOW me. So far, the only think I've seen is a weiner. < and that's bad for both sides.”
“I have a question. If we just cut spending we wouldn't need to raise the debt limit, would we? This is not a revenue problem, this is a spending (ie social program) problem.”
Ldyforce6 on Jul 13, 2011 at 18:58:02
“Yeah...do that in your own life...don't pay the credit card bill (where you accumulated debt already), or your car payment or your mortgage and see where that gets you.
This is NOT about NEW spending, this is about paying for the borrowing done (and that we continue to do) for the tax cuts and the costs of the war and all the other "costs of doing business" including the costs for government salaries, benefits, etc.
I agree. Let's end the tax cuts and the wars, tomorrow...perhaps THEN we will have enough REVENUE to pay for the DEBT we accumulated up to now and not add anymore to the books...that WOULD pay down the debt.
If we were to add NOT ONE MORE DIME of NEW spending, until and unless those policies we have in place are removed, we will accumulate more debt to pay for THEM...and that is how this is MORE the Republican's debt then the Democrats.
A government, a business and personal finances are TWO columns...REVENUES and EXPENDITURES.”
nolabels on Jul 13, 2011 at 18:55:23
“Entirely a revenue problem.”
ram6968 on Jul 13, 2011 at 18:43:38
“But since average spending -- minus interest -- outpaces revenue by about $118 billion a month, Geithner won't be able to pay all the country's bills.”
Aggiemom on Jul 13, 2011 at 18:43:08
“You are incredibly misinformed. The Bush Tax Cuts were never meant to be permanent. There is a huge revenue problem that tax reforms for the oil companies (among other things) would address. Also, the Democrats are willing to look at entitlements (that's what that's called--not social programs). You really need to make the effort to get yourself a little better informed.”
“Politicians DON'T create jobs. Decrease taxes on corps. Let's get real. The eco is in the tank because corps don't know what the h** is going on w their money. Will the gvt take our profits or won't they? Hmmm... No hiring this month. Ease up on the flipping regs and take the direction of this country out of the dumper - you will see more hiring..”
cancerg01 on Jul 13, 2011 at 18:36:21
“Been there....Bush did that....so where are the jobs? Didn't get them then won't get them now.....not if you are waiting for the corporate criminals to spend money to do it.”
Matthew Alspaugh on Jul 13, 2011 at 18:34:36
“are you joking? some of the top corporations paid under 5% and some even 0% and still got a refund. this is all a lie. tax cuts on businesses encourage them to take more of a profit rather than putting that money back into their business. with higher tax rates, they will be forced to take less money as profit unless they want to pay more taxes. that way they will use it on bettering the business, hiring people etc.”
