“Admittedely, there is a thirst for revenge for what this miserable turncoat has done to the health care bill. He is, at best, a slimy slug. But Obama and Emmanuel are not without blame. Of all the things one might have wondered about Obama when he came upon the political stage-----it NEVER occured to me that SPINELESSNESS would be a concern! As a full throated supporter....in numerous ways...of the Obama campaign, I feel betrayed. Miserably betrayed. I could never have voted for McCain---NEVER!---but I sure feel I wasted my money---my time---and my VOTE....on a man who caves in so easily-----especially to a cretin who actually campaigned against him in 08. Remember when we all wondered why Reid and Obama didn't dump the lying lieberman after the campaign?
They said "but we NEED him for that 60th vote!" So, tell me President Obama....How'd that work out for you?"”

“If that idiot had shot and killed my cat----I would now be doing life in prson for what I would have done to him.......even knowing that prison might be the result. I think it is time that the legal system realized that pets are more than mere property. They can be as important to us as the people in our lives......and deliberately harming a pet should have far more serious consequences than a monetary fine. It must often be particularly galling to judges----especially those with beloved pets---whose hands are tied by archaic laws regarding our most trusted and loyal friends.”

“I am....and have always been 100% Democrat. The obstructionism displayed by the GOP since Obama took office is reprehensible----but so is the fact that many of us who so strongly supported and believed in Obama are now being forced to admit to ourselves that he may not be up to the job.
As president he is---or should be, a kind of shephard----keeping the Senate Dems together. He sure ain't getting that done----and now we have to accept that the dream of real health care reform is just that----a dream. Wall Street and the Big Banks have basically ignored him, and real reform in any area seems painfully remote.
I came along in the era of FDR----and for awhile I thought I'd bite the dust with a reasonable facsimilie. This AIN'T no FDR! I'll never vote republican, because I'd then have to chew off the arm that pulled the lever....but I'd better see something moving or I'll do like so many around me do on election day: STAY HOME!”
