“If the sender of the Pigeon Service code-sender's signature is of a Sergeant William Stott was a member of the Special Operations Executive which was according to Wikipedia only a few people were aware of existence of SOE sometimes referrenced as "Baker Street Irregulars" and most SOE used "One Time Pads" if X02 really is code for Bomber Command maybe we are really onto something

Type on google: Special Operations Executive (Wikipedia)...In the third paragraph click on "Baker Street Irregulars" it will take you to Baker Street Irregulars (Wikipedia) then read the first paragraph where it says that the Baker Street Irregulars are any of several different groups and all named after the
original, from various Sherlock Holmes stories are a
gang of young street children whom he often employed to aid in his cases

Further down in this same report we read that the Special Operations Executive
(SOE) was tasked by Winston Churchill to "set Europe
ablaze" during World War II. Headquarters located at 64 Baker Street and often called "the Baker Street Irregulars"

SOE who are interwoven with Sherlock Holmes tales so let's look at his book "A Study in Scarlet" published in 1886 and has 126 pages two parts and both have 7 chapters (type on google: A Study In Scarlet - The Literature Page

Start with AOAKN maybe book is key reference for the modulo 5 rather than a poem.SOE used simple messages when using "One Time Pads" probably not too complex”
