This should NEVER have happened. There is NO risk vs benefit ratio in favor of vaccinating for Hep B within hours of birth. There is ONLY RISK!

If for no other reason than to err on the side of caution...­Hep B should NEVER have been added to the mandatory schedule for you children. And without question the very day they are born.”

My son has CP as well but not autism. He was born with an APGAR of 9-10 and was robust and healthy. After DTaP...CP diagnosis that was followed by apraxia, dysarthria and PDD. There was no other "event" in his life to cause a problem. He screamed for 3 hours 45 minutes after his DTaP vaccine and was never the same again.”

“One thing has to be considered though Dave, the definition of "Environmental Trigger" IS NOT limited to chemicals or chemical exposures! We are talking about complex processing of emotions, memory, motor skills...y­ou name it. Cognitive development is not driven by (chemical) environmental exposures per se, so why would abilities/­­traits/fu­n­ctions associated with ASDs be strictly delegated to that mode of thinking? I think that leaving these considerations out is the reason why this 'conversation' is sounding more and more like a broken record.

The other night I ran into a large group of our neighbors hanging out and talking. I am always considered the "crazy" one with many references like..."oh­, don't start a vaccine conversation with K...".
You could have knocked me over with a feather when these once dismissive mothers all started talking to me about the damage to their children and finally they believe vaccines were the culprit. Two different moms told me that when they looked at their family "movies" they, for the first time, paid attention to the fact that at a certain moment in time, their children changed. They told me that there was never a possibility in their minds that vaccines could be to blame. Too much trust in the system to consider. But with open minds...th­ey saw their family videos through different eyes.
I am grateful they brought it to my attention, and for the first tiem in a LONG time...my glass is possibly half full instead of empty.
This new article, David, adds to that feeling of truth maybe...fi­nally...co­ming out.
