“This would appear to be biased reporting against the value of a stable heterosexual family. Good luck on that one!”

“Since over 50% of hetero marriages end in divorce, your argument is quite flawed and shows massive desperation. ”
ShinjiIkari on Mar 12, 2013 at 07:01:49
“Ironically, the legal underpinning of the argument against the Defense of Marriage Act is "Virginia v Loving" (1967)--which ruled that, contrary to the laws then prevalent in sixteen states, a heterosexual marriage between people of two different skin colors was not a problem, and that such laws violated the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. SCOTUS's conservative faction needs to address this precedent if they want to make DOMA stick.”

“Your flawed premise and the promotion of discrimination that is based upon it is literally dying away. Indeed, good luck with THAT.”
“Yes, and I voted for the President as a default choice. No telling how many Independents and Democrats would have preferred another Candidate. Obama is not the strong leader that this country needs RIGHT NOW!”

“Could've been worse, we could have an ineffective non leader named Mitt Romney,”
“No doubt President Obama is not a Leader! He appears to have little to no regard for the US Constitution. A lot of 'fancy talk'. Good at 'saying the appropriate thing', but lacking in a real substantive understanding of the roots of America. Seems to have his own "International Agenda".”
“Congress has failed the People + The President has failed the People = The government has failed the People.
Government Grade - "O". President Grade - "O"
Bring on the next election. Let's vote out ALL ENCUMBANTS and end six year terms for the US Senate.”

Presdiential Approval rating: 57%
Congressional approval rating: 13%”

“The teacher should never have played a song to her middle school aged class without having heard the song privately. The content is irrevent to that fact. Should she have been suspended for two days and her pay docked? Maybe that was overkill.
An Administrative conference would certainly have been in order and even an apology to the students might have been appropriate. She sure opened Pandora's Box.”

“I thought Michigan was a LIBERAL state where homosexuality is at least TOLERATED, if not accepted. Sounds more Like Texas, Florida, or Arizona here!!”
“You were brainwashed about Reverend Wright. And, Obama should have stayed a real Patriotic. Rev. Wright is a retired Marine, honorably discharged. He was a medical assistant who assisted in the operation of a United States President.
His quotation was entirely out of context of his entire sermon, which was a chastisement of the foreign policy in which we are”

“***His quotation was entirely out of context of his entire sermon***
Assuming you are refering to Wright.. I would say that you have selective hearing since the man went on and on and on for years with his racial garbage.. and still does. As well, the credentials you listed are completely benign. It's not like there has never been a racist Marine or medical assistant.. lol.
None-the-less, there was a lot of stink being raised four years ago about Obama's association with Wright. It was ugly. So, my posting point was.. this thing with Romney and Reid is less than Obama's was (a lot less) and it didn't seem to keep Obama out of the Whitehouse.”

“Brainwashing going on? Oh my! BO and his handlers have been quite good at it. Nobel Prize for speechifying about what he would do if elected President. Seen any of that. Hope there is an epidemic in Sweden of the senile committee. IF Jeremiah Wright were defendable, the Daley Machine and BO's handlers would have done so.”
“I think Wallace is wrong on his take of Chris Christie. The man told the country what the country needs to hear and in no uncertain terms. It is also what Mr. Romney and :President Obama need to hear. He told the 90% of the people who disapprove of 'Washington" what all of them know is the root cause of America's 'problem'.
And especially what Mike Wallace needs to here.”

“I'm waiting for the THING we all need to hear. Enlighten me.”
“"Stupid white people trying to be superior and know it all". Are you a black racist?
I am amazed at your anger and misperceptions of "white people". Are you not aware that President Obama is mulato? Half 'white' and half 'black'. So, by your comment, he would be "half stupid", which he is not.
I voted for Obama in the last election, and I am a 69 year old white male, educated, Instructor at a University, who was raised in a liberal/conservative family and have been a champion for the equality of all souls all my life.
"stupid white people"? Stupid is as stupid Does! There is no superior or inferior race, of which I am aware; and that would be "in the eye of the beholder".”
“How sad. Here we are with two poor candidates for President of the United States. The System is broken. Can it be fixed by the System?
The Senate cannot pass a mandated federal budget! Big Money is determining elections!
Trying not to be very pessimistic here. Really trying.”
Malaki33 on Aug 22, 2012 at 08:21:00
“The system can be fixed by us, but most people just keep voting the incumbents back into the congress and senate, you want this fixed they ALL (republican and Democrat) need to be voted out and NEW folks need to be elected.”
Actionmac on Aug 22, 2012 at 08:14:43
“Your doing a poor job of being pessimistic, as thinking people would say to you... One president and he has a time table for leaving. Also our troops are authorized to defend themselves in those close quarter situations now, no more peacenick.
As for the budget, if the elected bagheads were thinking people and not playing the same old games of stupid white people trying to be superior and know it all we could move ahead. Thinking big money is going to help take WH and senate so the GOP can complete their agenda.”

“In January, when the military if finally defunded, much of this problem might be self-solving.”
“Raised in Central Florida sitty with pistols, rifles, and shot guns, not of which were ever locked in a cabinet And the ammution was there for my father and I to used to load the guns at anytime.
That was between 1955 and 1961, Many of my friends had guns available to them. I cannot remember one accidental shooting or mass shooting in the area. Possibly there was.
We had NO automatic, high-powered rifles. What could possibly need them for? That was 'before telelivision' became the greatest impact upon the American public and the role models children began to see on the 'big screen' began to slide into the abyss of what we see today.
I fully support control of the sale of automatic weapons capable of mass homocide. And I, an Independent, support the President's position on the issue. Good thinking!.”
julieintx on Jul 26, 2012 at 15:17:38
“Done. Auto weapons are already controlled.”

“I wish there were more pro gun people like you. Your post is logica and makes sense. But unfortunately we have people that think they should be able to buy any gun they choose because they have misconstrued the second amemdment to mean something more than it intended.”
msm0207 on Jul 26, 2012 at 15:10:41
“Not sure what you are saying in the last paragraph. Do you remember when automatic weapons were banned? Did it help. The Oklahoma city bombers didn't need them. More knive killings lately too.
I have relatives who have hunted their whole lives. No mishaps. They ate what they hunted (legally, with tags and licenses). I do believe they think that once some weapons are outlawed all will be. IF the US signs the UN agreement, all is lost.”
